it was probably the refs trying to make the higher market team win, like donagy says.. or whatever

i figured the refs mostly betted over/unders which they'd have more control over...the line was Bobcats -2.5 but I'm not sure the O/U

That was fucking pathetic

We have zero players who can create their own shot...ZERO

Felton does the same goddamn thing he's been doing for five years

Dribble the ball and just stand there like a mongloid while none of his teammates even move

Stephen Graham is the one who made the biggest shot of the game for us...STEPHEN GRAHAM

Nice job Larry you dumb bastard of not subbing at all for the end of regulation and both overtimes

It made perfect sense to leaven Radmonavic in there hitting nothing but air and bricks all night long

Chandler is a huge cunt with worse hands than Okafor, which I didn't think was possible

Nice job of charging thirteen dollars for a FUCKING PRETZEL bobcats management, thats sure to be a hot seller

Nice shirt Paul Silas

Steve Javie told one of our assisstants to shut the fuck up

Diop looks like Bokeem Woodbine

Have fun getting raped by Cleveland tomorrow with no lube and no condom

This team will be lucky to win 30 games

Flip Murray can light it up, but if he's a factor on our team. It is bad. Nobody on our team can finish round the cup. I sid that watching us last year. and sure enough I looked it up and our team was blocked more than any other. You need athleticism nd we don't have it. Wallace is the losest, but he shoud be third best player on a good team not end all be all.

i didnt say he was the answer to our problems. you said we had no one that could create our own shot, and i said we did have 1 guy. i never once indicated he was our savior on offense.

Told you people were overreacting. We are going to be one of the best defensive teams in the league which automatically gives us a chance to compete nightly.

Obviously we need to get better on offense and probably become more uptempo because we aren't built for halfcourt

IMO, they've got to get DJ on the court more. I like Felton, but he doesn't have Augustin's potential on the offensive end.

Averaging only 79.8 pts a game, which is the lowest in the NBA. Then we go and put up 61 in the first have against the Hawks. Playing well so far, 61-48 at the half.

blew the lead at the end of the third then started playing sloppy... and felton still can't shoot. surprised how long the starters played. guess Larry Brown doesn't trust his bench at all

Well the refs let the Bulls go on a tear at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th. The announcers wouldn't shut up about us "falling in love with jump shots" but we were hitting them all night and we weren't getting the calls when we took it to the basket.

Noah is just an animal. If Rose develops into a stud that team's nucleus is pretty nice.

Anyway, we look like a very competitive team so far. We almost stole a road win on a back to back.

Felton just isn't going to get there I guess. He's a huge liability at the end of the game because he simply can't hit the shots they give him. He wasn't even close last night. He's a terrific backup but he's a supermarginal starter at this level because he can't finish games.

Our defense looks awesome, we were stealing passes left and right.

Classic fan conundrum:

Going to see Orlando and Vince isn't playing...as a fan, you want the Bobcats to have a better chance of winning, but you also want to see the best players play

But fuck it, Vince (and Rashard Lewis) aren't must see guys anymore...and Howard will rape Chandler regardless

oh and

Quote :
"At this early stage of the season, there are only a couple teams that are completely and totally out of the playoff picture: the New Jersey Nets and Sacramento Kings. Every other team's fans can entertain wild-eyed dreams of playoff basketball. Can we benefit from their situations?

First, the Nets. The only player we have that makes sense for them is Raja Bell. He's got an expiring contract that fits in with their plan to clear cap space for this offseason and sign free agents to complement their interesting young players, like Courtney Lee, Yi Jianlian, and Brook Lopez. Unfortunately for the Bobcats, the Nets have done too good a job of clearing cap space. The only players with guaranteed contracts for next season are guys they'll almost certainly want to keep, and it doesn't make any sense for them to swap out an expiring contract for an expiring contract. We probably won't be able to even start a conversation with them unless, improbably, they grow weary of Yi and figure they'd rather cut bait.

Star-divide
The Kings are a different story, though. They've got some messy contracts and fiscal pressure that we might be in position to massage with a calculated gamble. No one they'd be able to offer us is a game-changer who would guarantee us the playoffs, but if they want to get out from under a horrific contract, they can give us that contract and a very good player to fill out our rotation. I'd be most interested in Spencer Hawes or Jason Thompson to come off the bench and be a backup to both Diaw and Chandler. Unfortunately, it looks like we'd have to take back Beno Udrih in any deal, which makes no sense for the Cats, because Andres Nocioni's deal is only one year longer than Radmanovic's and Mohammed's (not worth it for Sacto), and Francisco Garcia's long deal is still subject to Base Year Compensation provisions, so we can't make that work.

Here's where I'm going with this: I don't see any trades that make sense for the Bobcats, even after other teams start dropping out of the playoff hunt. No, wait. I take that back. There's one. When the Warriors give up on this season, they might consider trying to clear out some space and trade Raja straight up for Ronny Turiaf. The big guy has an unwieldy contract, extending through 2012, but he would make the team better by being a defensive presence (and about the same scorer as Chandler, i.e. way better than Diop) off the bench at both the PF and C positions. Bell, as professional as he is, is primarily a contract figure at this point, and if we put Flip in at the two, we'd get better offense, probably making up for any drop in defense, and if we put Augustin or Henderson in at that spot, we'd be giving much needed playing time to a young player. I'd also argue that we probably wouldn't see much drop in production.

The biggest problem for the Cats is that every other team is either set for the 2010 offseason, set for the 2011 offseason, or will be looking for a player to help them this season, which Bell is not. Boris Diaw might be attractive to a contender, but his contract is extremely daunting. Gerald Wallace will be attractive to a contender, but I'm not sure it's such a good idea to trade away a guy who outproduces his pay scale. And Raymond Felton, of course, might be a bench upgrade for someone with the bonus that he's an expiring contract, but the contender that needs a point guard upgrade, either starter or bench, and sees Felton as said upgrade probably isn't a contender.

It's Rosterbation Monday! Are we stuck dreaming about John Wall? Or is there someone our there for the taking that we can steal? (See? I made it this far without mentioning Joe Alexander!)"

Welp we found a 2 guard that can score. Head case or not he can score.

Bobcats get:
Stephen Jackson
Acie Law

Warriors get:
Raja Bell
Vlad Radmanovic

I like it.

I love that deal

Even tho he's a headcase, Jackson can produce offense

He has three years left on his deal, but we're cap-fucked for the next three years anyway, so its not going to matter

Great trade we get badly needed scoring without giving up much on defense since jackson is good on both ends. He's also a creator and played a lot of pg last year. This leads me to believe we may shop ray if we don't catch on fire with this lineup.

From a contract standpoint jackson isn't really overpaid and we get rid of radmans bad deal.

Most importantly we get a no. 1 option at the end of games so we can stop playing flip murray.

Great deal

Just to be clear tho, Jackson is not a good shooter...he only put up good numbers in Oakland because it was a volume offense

I would hope he takes less three's and long two's and instead we run the offense thru him and Boris, two of the best passing non-point guards in the league

This makes the PG position more about shooting and less about passing, so hopefully more DJ and less Felton

He plays on the fastest paced team in the league

Per-game numbers are a useless comparison in his case

Per-possession and efficiency numbers tell a much different tale
