unfortunately, i was baking them as christmas presents. there were a few left in tupperware at the house but um...yeah...eleusis took care of that cookie problem with a quickness.

White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies1 cup butter, softened1 cup granulated sugar3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed2 teaspoons vanilla1/2 teaspoon salt2 eggs2 1/2 cups all purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda10 ounces white chocolate (chips or bars cut in chunks)1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped into chunksDirections:Heat oven to 375 F. In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt with electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, beat well. Stir together flour, and the baking soda; gradually add flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. (Edges are golden brown and center is set.) Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack to cool completely.Makes 3 to 4 dozen cookies.

i did give them as gifts! Big Lots in Cary has an entire section of Gift tins - circular, square, rectangle, small, medium, large - and they're all between $2-3 each.

^^ Your cookies should arrive today, I hope! You're getting the white chocolate cherry shortbread and a few others.^ And those cookies are not hard to make. My boss makes them. It's basic shortbread that's dipped in white chocolate and then dipped in sprinkles.

Holy cow that looks amazing!! I am definitely trying that while on break.I just got a food processor as an early Xmas gift from my aunt... and I LOVE IT. ^you want a great twist to the traditional peanut butter cookie? wrap each little dough ball around a bite-size Snickers bar. bake them as you normally would - and then you've got Peanut Butter Snickers cookies. i was making them on Page 1 of this thread back in October LOL i'll keep that in mind, are you local? doggy bags of burnt cookies, haha.[Edited on December 21, 2009 at 1:36 PM.
