Cut him, not likely Wesley is our best special teams player. I don't give too shits if the play was dirty fine, they took care of it. Cut him thats the problem with people now Football is a violent sport if he didn't leave his feet it wouldn't have been as bad, he did not signal fair catch and as a gunner you are looking at the return man not at the ball.

I think Talib should have been tossed too he was running towards the Panthers bench. he may have been stopped but he was still making a move towards the bench.

I am saying I think its ridiculous to even suggest cutting him. Football is a violent sport and plays like this happen every now and then. The reason he was ejected was for leaving his feet. He probably thought he had timed it right when the ball was getting there.

Keep in mind, in the NFL a two game suspension cost you over 12% of your salary, not like in baseball where they suspend you for 5 games which is 3% of your salary.

I think 2 games would be fair, if he hadn't left his feet in a spear like move, he would not be getting suspended, that and the ball landed four yards to the left of the assault.

2 games for this would be ridiculous. It was just a poor decision, he was leading too much and hit the guy too early. He got all excited trying to make a highlight play. If the other guy had caught the ball before he got hit we'd all be talking about how nasty a hit it was and not about suspending Wesely.

Seeing it live I thought he had it in his head that his timing was going to let him land the hit right as he caught the ball.

When he got up he didnt run away thinking he was being chased by pissed off teammates, he was chasing the ball that was bouncing out of bounds (thinking it was a live ball)

Bad timing, and i think a fine is ok, but it wasnt intentional imo
