Bob Knight is hilarious.

Watching these other teams play, the gulf of talent and professionalism between us and these other teams is ridiculous. Every single freshman duke and unc got are better than every freshman we got, and pretty much all of their players are better than ours. Our guys are making weak tip in attempts. Their guys are dunking it. Our guards act like they are glad to dribble without turning it over. Their guards are driving down the middle as the rule, not the exception.

On top of that, they don't look like scared kids playing out on the court -- they look like guys playing competitive basketball as naturally as they breath. Wisconsin looked like a fucking well-oiled machine.

^^our team has 3 guys that were 4*'s at this moment........two of those are freshman big men that have been on campus for a total of about 3 months. The other is Tracy Smith, who is gonna be battling for All-ACC honors this year.

Duke and UNC have a PLETHORA of 5 and 4* talent. they have mcdonalds all americans on their bench.....we have Julius Mays and a bunch of freshmen.

The talent is coming guys....i just hope people can be patient enough for it to get here

The Big Ten's effort this Challenge (I won't put quotation marks around Challenge since the Big Ten finally won one) remind me of the WNBA commercials and how they try to pump up their game.

whooptie doo. The Big Ten needed Clemson to blow a fucking 23 point lead to beat us in the worst year for the ACC in recent........no, fuck that, LONG TERM memory.

when was the last time the acc didn't have a dominant final four standout contender? can't remember. and after the really good unc and duke teams theres nobody with even a remote oustide shot. clemson, maryland, gt, wake and miami are all decent but not even good enough to seem like a real threat. I wouldn't be surprised if we finished in the top half of the conference. not because we are good but because we aren't that much than everyone not named duke and unc and duke and unc arne't even DOMINANT like unc has been the last few years and duke was before that.

Yeah us..... let's pretend NCSU contributes anything to the ACC besides two easy wins to any decent team in the conference. We have sucked for a long time, suck in the present, and will suck in any foreseeable future. Fans bragging about playing in the toughest conference from NCSU are like fans from Cleveland bragging about how tough the AFC North is, because we contribute absolutely nothing to it being such a great conference (normally).

The only teams we could beat in football would be Mississippi State and Vandy....

We would still be middle of the road behind Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Vanderbilt, Arkansas annually in bball.

Realize that shitting on the Big 10 this morning makes you no different from UNC fans shitting on State last weekend

One game, one point...the margin doesn't matter

Give them their moment; they earned it

you mean 06-07 season I hope and not the 06/07 AND 05/06 because in 2006 duke was heavy favorites to win the whole thing and only lost 3 games all season. that was the year redick and morrison were unreal.

I'll let the 2007 year be accepted as a viable argument but unc was damn good and a 1 seed on that team with wright although virginia did win the regular season taht year.
