Ive been trying to put a finger on whats going on. He didn't appear to really be injured, at least to the point that's what was affecting him. I couldn't believe he already checked out of Cleveland and just gave up. At best it was that he just melted under the pressure which didn't seem to fit either.. This certainly would make sense....

I just heard them say on ESPN that if the Nets won the draft lottery they would have a better chance to get Lebron, since they could get John Wall.

Personally, I'm not sure how Lebron would like playing with a star point guard. Lebron seems to enjoy being a bird/pippen style point forward, and having Wall on his team would almost certainly see his assist numbers go down significantly.

maybe back in the 80s and 90s it wouldve been best for Lebron to go to a huge media market like New York City, but in todays world, with all the technology and media coverage, he gets just as much exposure in Cleveland as he would get in New York

here is a breakdown of the most likely places he'll go and reasons why he wont go there:

Media sales by the market will still matter as long as there's an active NY-centered media culture. It's not all internet-based...yet.

I mean, ratings still matter for ad buys, and a good NY team can pull much higher average ratings than a team in a market like Cleveland, easily. You're basing this on a media model that's on the way but not here yet, not until there's better technology for web broadcasts.

despite how shitty the Knicks have been in recent memory, people still renew their season tickets...its a much, much bigger market than Cleveland...its the biggest sports market in the country

and while Lebron will still be on TV and in commercials, etc regardless of what team he plays for...he has aspirations of being a billionaire...Chicago and New York / New Jersey (Brooklyn Nets) seem like the best fits...or Miami with Pat Riley

If in fact the Nets would pay him and another top tier player I dont think it would take that long for them to become a contender. If he can win games in Cleveland with that cast then he could win with Brook Lopez, Devin Harris...role players like Courtney Lee, YI, and CDR. You throw another top tier player, even second tier like Joe Johnson or someone. Then you throw in Wall or Favors and that team could contend.

I'm thinking something like
