We're getting our yearly corporate bonus, but it hasn't been unveiled to us just yet. We find out next month and the raise won't show until our March paycheck.

$2000 bonus, plus also got a 3rd qtr. bonus of about $2500 at the same time. Taxes ate about half though.

Got a 2% raise last year. I won't get one this year, at least not from the same company as Saturday is my last day with them. However, I did effectively give myself a 15% raise by finding a new job that I start in February.

Team made the playoffs at the end of the season, meaning I got my Playoff/Christmas bonus yesterday. Came out to about 8%, I'll take it.

$3k bonus based on performance
2% raise across the board.

Pleasantly surprised. I've only been here for 9 months: 3 months as a contractor, 6 months fulltime.

Locality adjustment is different cost of living. The cost of living increase is added to your base salary.

I KNOW and I was going to take Christmas Eve off anyway, so I just saved four hours of annual leave.

We get a Fixed and Variable bonus based on the performance of the firm and our individual performance. So I'll get something, but nothing worth writing home about.

Just got my 3rd quarter overnight bonus, will get another one in February. I am getting an annual bonus, not yet sure how much it will be. I'll get a raise in March or April and possibly a pay grade increase and promotion at some point next year.

Not really a bonus, but I'm about to settle a case right before Christmas that will net me half my salary for the year. Relatively simple case as well. Just got to keep the work flow coming in so I can put a majority of this money away.

$700 bonus but it was really an "expense reimbursement" which is a good thing, considering it's not taxed

I nearly blew mine last week by assuming Thanksgiving was a global holiday. I took care of it eventually and am expecting something decent in the next few weeks. All put away, of course. Its amazing how many people who work with money for a living don't understand the time value of it.

Cost of living increase has been frozen for the next two years for federal employees. So there goes my "bonus". Oh well, I'm due for a step increase in June

I have never gotten a bonus in my entire 8-year working career. The only time in the last 4 years we've had a raise was in 2008.

I'm getting tired of being a state employee...really I am...but (forced smile) at least I have a job!

Personal Trainer = no bonus

we'll see what comes next

we got a $25 gift walmart gift card in lieu of any bonus or raise, same as last year. I guess it better than nothing, but I hate walmart and will go out of my way to not shop there. I think I still have last year's gift card.

meh, maybe I'll give them away as christmas presents.

Bonus = not being RIF'ed

Actually, my boss just told me he recommended me for a promotion, but that there's no money to go with it. Better than a sharp stick in the eye I suppose.

3% raise this year (got 8% last year).

I get no Christmas bonuses (well, other than $25 Walmart gift card for Thanksgiving, and the soon-to-be $100 gift card for working during the office Christmas party).

I really miss working for private industry.

Raises were typically 7-10% per year with boners being in the 12-20% per year.

This year it was 3% raise and no bonus.

I'll be lucky if I still have a job after the next state budget is passed

Needless to say, no raise and the state doesn't give bonuses

We don't even get paid time off and aren't allowed to use our vacation days in December, so I don't anticipate any sort of bonus.

State Employee = No raise or bonus for last 2+ years.

So I got my own. 35% raise starting Monday, and still a state employee. Plus, now I'm moving from Redneck Rapids to the Triangle!

As a small business owner I see no reason to give a bonus. I give my employees a bonus every week when they open their pay check. I will never understand a bonus that is based on a holiday and not performance. I do how ever let my guys work all the overtime in December they want. Does this make me an ass hole? Or just fair?

2-5% bonus based on performance, however, it's not really a christmas bonus as much as it is a way to reduce your base salary and potentially save a few bucks by not giving the max perf bonus.

Sigh.

But, I should have a lil 10% raise coming in January after 21 months with the job, no raises before, so it's very welcome.
