Serious douchbaggery on Roy's part. I NEVER want to see a coach go at it with a fan. Any coach that does, needs to be fired. Its just uncouth and downright low.

Give me any game, esp one of ours that isnt seen at. Its regular part of being a fan. Ok you are the underdog at the dean dome against unc, but at least you have the spirit to counter the other team. Hell, to bring up UNC's "rivals" look at duke at any of their home games, how they tear apart verbally the other team. You can be sure UNC's students I bet and fans were doing the same thing to Presbyterian's team, and 100 times louder.

If the guy had a legitimate ticket.. and was acting the same way that everyone else was acting.. then there is grounds for a lawsuit here.

He'll settle before it ever goes to a court. This is completely ridiculous, and I'd hope that Lowe would be required to forfeit an entire year's pay if he ever did anything this stupid.

Back in Lowe's first year, I went to the State-Wake game in Winston-Salem. I'm from Winston-Salem and was with some girls who are good friends of mine. State was up by 15 when someone on Wake went to the line. I couldn't resist. Right before his release, in a dead silent arena (har har, LJVM is normally a funeral parlor anyway) I yelled "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOLF PAAAAAAAAAACK!" He missed the shot. The Wake fans around me went ape shit.

at the RBC Center the UNC fans will stand in front of the student section behind their bench when they arent supposed to. Many of them end up arguing with the students, and nothing ever comes of it

^It's not just UNC. It's like someone said earlier, almost all tickets to a sporting event have some fine print on them saying you could be escorted out for any reason that they think warrants being kicked out. But no one does it over something that small because no one has a stick up their ass to the magnitude that Roy Williams and his herd of sheep do. This is the culture that Chapel Hill breeds and it's the heart of why every State fan worth his salt LOATHES unc. Roy Williams actually thinks that unc is so special, classy, and above everything else in the world of sports that no one should be allowed to heckle someone dressed in a hallowed carolina jersey. Fuuuuuck that noise.

The part that bothers me the most was the "our tickets" comment by Roy afterwards

Regardless of how the heckler got the tickets, whether by buying them, getting them for free, winning a contest, whatever...the tickets are now "his tickets"

The way Roy phrased it, you'd think Roy gave his personal seats to they guy, perhaps the only situation in which Roy's actions would be acceptable

This is kinda like the Tiger Woods thing in a sense...if Roy had just come out after the game and been like "I messed up, I overreacted...I was upset at our own fans for not showing more support for the team, and I was a little loopy from all these pain pills for my arm sling...I'd like to buy tickets to an upcoming game for the fan who was unfortunately ejected" then it would essentially be over and done with

^^I'm not positive, but I've been listening to streaming sports radio today on 610 in Charlotte and I'm 99.9% sure they said the Roy Williams show was coming on at 7pm, right after the Packman show

just checked, and yes he must be heading to the book signing right after the show, because its on from 7pm - 8pm every Monday during bball season
