Carolina should win this game based on the fact that they get a whole damn week to prepare for it. How the heck did that work out? NC State shit. That said though, I think the players will come out with some emotion and hopefully the experienced players like Javi, Horner, Smith, Degand, etc will all will want to get some payback for the beatings Carolina put on us the past few seasons.

I fucking hate Roy and he loves to run up the score against us. I just hope we can have the opportunity to return the favor once.

Section 1982, and I wish he would read this comment and seek redress. Attorneys’ fees come automatically with the victory under that statute. Mountain Man Roy needs to man up and apologize and kiss the guy’s ring before he sues."

I too am against rushing the court.



I was at State from 04 (the season after Rivers left) - 09 (the third year in a row we failed to make the Big Dance in bball or win a bowl game in football), so you KNOW I look for any reason to celebrate that I can as a State fan. But as others have pointed out, if we win, emphasis on the IF, rushing the court is only going to give the Hole fans the satisfaction of knowing that beating them is the end all of our sports existence.

While sadly that has been the case over the past several years due to the mediocrity that is NC State sports, I'll be damned if I want to reinforce that notion. We should expect to beat these guys year in and year out. Rushing only lends credibility to the massive inferiority complex everyone attributes to us.

I also don't want our players thinking, that just because they beat Duke or UNC and everyone loves them for it, they can come out the next game and not play their hardest because they've earned a break or some shit (basically our performance against Maryland after coming off of the win against Duke).

V That would be the fall of '04 to the spring of '09, so try 5 years with an internship, 2 degrees, and a job waiting upon graduation to show for it, so go fuck yourself.
