Like I said, we could just raise taxes a little and then we can afford free obesity clinics every quarter mile in every city in america and then we'll pretty much be set.

Nasa should be shut down 100% for free food and healthcare. there I said it. I'm in your camp now.

Another several million tax dollars going to waste "studying the sun" lol. Imagine the waste of human resources and tax dollars if say we were to put a human being up there to alter expirements onboard this thing or repair damaged equipment for a few months. Proof alone that man does not belong up there during this 'recession'. pffttt. I mean c'mon why in the world would we need to do something as stupid as study the effects of the sun on planet earth??? laughable

i'm cool with letting other countries burn through cash and leaching off of their discoveries. we're pretty awesome at that sort of thing anyway right?

scientific research and invention are great... but that doesn't mean you have to spend billions to put a robot on mars just to find out it's made out of rocks and :gasp: some ice
