If he fires Fowler and then proceeds to go on a cocaine-hooker binge while using a sniper rifle to shoot at people on the top of DH Hill and is fired a week later, most alumni would still consider his tenure a major success and he'd probably get a building named for him on Centennial.

i agree, it'd be a GREAT move on his part. you really can't get any worse of an AD than fowler and people would instantly love him. making it known that you understand that people care about athletics would go a long long way.

The original was the Les Robinson Classic. Les Robinson didn't actually start it. The NCSU phi delt chapter did, and were able to get Les at the time, and then fowler to attach their names to it. Back when i was at state, Les did not have much involvement with it other than showing up. Lee's wife, however, was very very involved with the tournament and planning.

It is, however, interesting that it's not happening this year. Even if the brothers were a bunch of slack asses on it, Mrs. Fowler would have kicked everyone's ass into gear to get it done (not to imply she's a bitch, she's a really wonderful lady -- more of a motherly type of figure).
