sportscenter says that over 4.7 million entered and only 56 perfect left after first day...

^ That makes no sense. The ESPN thing said just 2.6% of voters picked Ohio over Georgetown. Maybe I'm bad at math...

You have a 1:2,147,483,648 shot at perfection (after the first round), just by blindly guessing. You would win the Powerball ten times before guessing the first round perfectly. If a 1-seed always beats a 16-seed, then that probability drops to 1:134,217,728 (and you would win the Powerball once).

^ however, you have to take into account the probabilty of certain teams beating others. A 2-15 is not a blind guess. That thought is only if it were a coin flip, which it isn't. The math is way more complicated than it seems. You'd have to dig up seeding stats and then figure out the probabilty.

a 16 has never beaten a 1

i think a 15 has only beaten a 2 like 4-5 times

anything from 5-12, 6-11, 7-10 and 8-9 is definitely a coin flip

dunno about the trends with 3-14 and 4-13 games

Good lord half the people with perfect brackets on ESPN.com are fucking morons. One had NIU in the final 4, another with Utah State in the final 4, one with Michigan State in the title game.

A Siena win and a Mizzou win would launch my score up to 120 and I might eventually even sneak on Page 1 of the standings

so I picked Minnesota to upset Xavier and then I didnt drink the Cornell koolaid and picked them to lose. Rough start to the day, I still think I'm going to start slow and finish strong this weekend since I have 15 out of my sweet 16 teams left

Two perfect brackets this far is pretty incredible. Out of five million or so entries, only two people...crazy.

oh and also:

Oh snap. I'm in sole possession of first place in the TWW group.

Sadly it will not last long as I picked Vanderbilt into the Final Four in a moment of complete retardation.
