To put it plainly, I don't think things are or have gone well for our defense. That's why I put going well in quotes up there.

Things are a bit better this year, and maybe people are willing to give Tenuta a bit of credit, since he's one (of the many) differences between this year and last. That said I still feel like we eventually get exposed and we never make adjustments.

Whether or not things have been going well on defense is certainly debatable, but I'm still a skeptic. Why blame Tenuta when he's not the DC? And keeping Archer during the off season was a strike against TOB IMO, since he's ultimately in charge.

And the new thing... Archer has had plenty of time, yet he still sucks. If, in time, Tenuta proves that he sucks as a linebacker coach by all means...

Yeah stupid defense gave up 3 pts in the entire 2nd half of the FSU game. WTF Tenuta? You'd better get the resume ready.

Seriously FSU was still moving the ball in the 2nd half and thanks to big mistakes by Ponder, we won. FSU o-line was able to handle our blitzing schemes. Regardless though it was a huge improvement over the 6 TDs we gave up last year in Tally.

Just as long archer is out. Not so sure about Tenuta as DC, but Randy Shannon would be a great. Should help recruiting a lot.

"Captain Vanilla" ... perfect. We have the worst coaches for recruiting of all time. They must be some really boring guys. TOB will never get rid of Archer like an idiot, and Tenuta will leave us.

Some people are never happy...

The alternative to what we have now is right down the road. Top recuriting classes every year - but can't beat their "non" rivals and will soon be raped by the NCAA.

A coach that can find guys that fit his system and are coachable plus win 8+ games and go to a respectable bowl game is all I ask for. B/c that would be a vast improvement over what we've ever consistantly had at this university.

I for one am very happy of where we are as a program. As long as he keeps this up, he can stay as long as he wants.

Tenuta's input has been evident this season, but I think Mike Archer deserves alot of credit and apologies. Last year he had to play a tremendous amount of freshmen and inexperienced players, and he's done a great job this season for the most part with a more experienced team.

This defense is still young and I expect them to be even better next season.
