And I am not surprised that you don't know what you are talking about. No "Secrets" spilled here. Just recorded non-encrypted public safety radio transmissions from Radioreference.com that any subscriber has access to. Since you obviously have no background in Public Safety Comms let me let you in on some info: the mp3 file I posted is not only available at RR.com, it is also available to you from RWECC All you would have to do is ask. It is public info.

Most public safety personnel are aware their comms are recorded by not only RWECC, but also Radioreference.com. If there is a need for sensitive comms, Raleigh PD also has a few full time encrypted Talkgroups/channels that are not recorded. But thankfully we live in an area where our Public Safety personnel are open minded and invite the general public to monitor the comms themselves.
In fact, Wake County Public Safety is so open minded as far as their comms go that they produced their own monitoring guide with step by step details on how to monitor them on a scanner:

And as for this specific situation I will withhold judgement until all the facts come to light.

If the RPD Officers did react wrongly then they need to be removed from duty and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

But unlike others here I will not judge them guilty based solely on the fact they wear an RPD uniform.
