Like someone mentioned, James Washington is getting the nod and Moose is #2. I'm not going to argue this...I'm sure TOB knows what he's doing.

My question is, what happened to Dean Haynes? He was hurt in the FSU game and held out of the Clemson game. He only got one carry vs WF...is the staff trying to ease him back into things after his concussion or did he just drop on the depth chart? Just wondering...

^ fumbles = bad

in all honesty though...O'brien's not the type to rush someone back from a concussion

Probably didn't think it was worth it to risk Haynes' head when we were up so much against WF.

Are guards our awesome

probably a mix of the 2

in the wake game we barely ran the ball so washington being on the field wasnt a big deal. no point in playing haynes a ton against a team that should be in the SoCon when youre not sure if he's 100% back

Moose and Haynes have the same number of fumbles at this point I believe.

it's the concussion. If we were done with him at RB, we'd switch him back to D

i wood love to see the MOOSE have a field day on these freaks. burn them for 180 yards on the ground and 100 yards receiving. 2 or 3 TDs etc...

UNC has to be a little tired and burnt out after giving it their all on DEF against Tyrod and all.

6^ The amount of strength it takes to do that is ridiculous. Irving should have wrestled for State too. Dudes would have pissed in their singlet before every match against him.

I think they could have thrown a flag on that for excessive roughness or something like that, I forget how the penalty is termed.

If you get slammed like that on an angle with your momentum going sideways like he did, there is a much less chance of injury than if Nate just straight Kevin Nash Power bombed him into the ground

Does the top of the head hitting the ground count as being down? I think that actually should have been a fumble.

Some funny stuff in this IC thread:

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=78&f=1408&t=6714718

they are taking TOB's "beating UNC is part of the culture around here" pretty badly. They're saying things like "stay classy", etc. Honestly, I thought it was a harmless comment. I took it to mean, the game is extremely important and is looked at as must win each year. Either way...funny stuff. And I do love them getting riled up so easily.

Also, found this post humorous:
Quote :
"He BETTER talk.... while he can.

Next year, the wusspeckers will be without:
Russell Wilson - All-ACC QB
Nate Irving - All-ACC SR LB
Audie Cole - SR LB
Owen Spencer - SR #1 WR
Jarvis Williams - SR #2 WR
Josh Czajikoski - SR K (14-18 FG)

And there recruiting class is nothing to write home about."

Don't they realize we beat them a few years ago with Daniel freakin' Evans at QB? Talent is not the issue here. Oh and Audi Cole is not a Sr. And Wilson could be back...

even if he meant it was "fuck you, i've never lost to unc" it still wouldn't be that unclassy or whathaveyou. just a week of jab.

If this is the quote they're talking about

Quote :
""That’s the carrot to win the game, to get to the ACC championship," O'Brien said. "As I said Saturday, the road to Charlotte goes through Chapel Hill. You have to get through Chapel Hill. Well, if you’re at N.C. State and you’re part of this football program, you have to win in Chapel Hill anyway.

"It’s something that is part of the culture here. We accept that fact and our kids have really risen to the occasion, have played well anytime we’ve played against North Carolina since I’ve been here.""

I'm pretty sure TOB is just saying that the most important thing to most NCSU fans is beating UNC. Not that we beat them every year.

^^yeah it would be pretty nice if we beat them by like 5 touchdowns and then they interview him after the game and he says like "maybe Coach Davis should try building a program without cheating all the time. Of course, that might not be an issue since he will probably be fired soon" or something like that then he could say "I guess when you pay players and give them trips and jewelry and do their schoolwork for them and you still can't finish in the top half of your division you really are a terrible X's and O's coach"

There is no evidence to indicate Butch even has a dick. If there is, he never knew about it.
