while wrong, I can see why they say subtract 0.9 from the 3.5 to get to 2.6 because thats how much time ran off on our play. however, the ball was in the air when the 0.9 ended, therefore no change of possession, so unless WF had the possession arrow and they called it a jump ball, it should have been ours

We lost the ball because had there been no clock issues, we shot the ball within 0.9sec.

even though there was a clock issue, we used up our possession by shooting it and they gave wake a possession with more time

I get why that call was made (because game was played, and you cant just pretend it didnt happen)...at the same time, if the refs had been paying attention, they should have blown the whistle before the ball was inbounded, therefore negating everything that happened after.

and we lose possession arrow after halftime. if the right call was made, we would get the first jump ball in the second half after they would get the first inbound.

they say the play ended while the ball was in the air, so the possession arrow determines who got the ball.

Harrows layups have gotten worse as the season has progressed. He used to have a soft touch on those floaters now it just seems shaky and forced. No confidence in his shot. Needs to pass it out of that situation.

we got the ball to start the half, therefore losing it on the next jump ball. had WF of taken the ball out, we would have the first jump ball scenario.

yes we get the added possession to start the half, but now if we get a defensive tie-up they will get the ball.

but it will likely work in our favor that WF got a 2.6 second long possession over a full one to start the half.
