The longest I've been single since age 16 has been 6 months. But I don't regret it for the most part. Except for when I dated the one guy and knew it was doomed from the begining. He was just away to keep guys away, but it didn't work at all. I also tried casually dating a lot of different guys at once and that just ended up pissing off everyone, including my mom :-/ it seems best for me to be in a relationship and I'm happy so fuck off. /defensive 5/18/2011 4:30:17 PM |

I've been non-single for about 2 months since 2006. It's kind of a crappy time to get into a relationship during college since a lot of people change locations & lifestyles and that can put a huge damper on a progressing relationship.
Also, everytime I get close enough to a girl near relationship mode I second guess myself and pull out of the situation for fear of it going shitty down the road later on (cutting off sex, going crazy bitch mode, being settled down too early, her becoming fat).
As long as you have decent game and can score hookups every so often, it's not bad being single. You can really take the freedom for granted until it's taken away from you. The way I see it, in our mid 20's theres still plenty of time to find a good relationship (especially guys), and it's better to wait for someone you're really into and totally sure about, than settling for someone who you'll end up breaking up with down the road.
The only sucky thing is when your friends get into relationships because the whole dynamic changes and puts a huge damper on your relationship with them. But hey thats when you can take some alone time and build up your personal hobbies and interests because those are your meal ticket when talking to women. 5/18/2011 5:19:45 PM |
