There are no such laws. There are only laws which restrict the ability of a union and an employer to form an exclusive contract. Boo hoo that such contracts mean non-union workers can't get hired by the company that voluntarily agreed to the contract, maybe they should join a fucking union.

You lie. Companies are trapped upon a worker majority vote for unionization in closed-shop states even if the company has always and continued to refused a union contract. At that point the company has two choices: sign such a contract, or continue to refuse and close down.

If the company doesn't like it, they can go to college and increase their value and get a job that pays more or learn to live within their means

...er, wait, am I doing that right?

No they can't. No amount of hard work on the companies part would get them out from under an unjust law.

well then, if the company can't increase it's value, it should learn to live without iPhones, new cars, videogames, and cable tv. And the company should marry another company to double its yearly profits.

The issue here is not whether the company makes money. The issue is the army of the permanently unemployed starving to death in the streets due to the above market union wages. Forget iPhones, they won't have food.

I think it's pretty clear that these companies are in no position to be having children they can't afford. The problem obviously is one of mismanaging their finances. Companies should look for ways to reduce their costs. For example, by switching to two-company households, companies can increase their revenues. They can also do other things, such as switching to single-ply toilet paper, eating generic brand cereal, and taking the bus to work.

Sure, it may be inconvenient, but hey, life isn't fair, and we can't all be top 500 companies.

There you go again, trying to pretend corporations are people.

Unions are the reason that jobs are going overseas.
