I go out of the way to see different stuff. I get bored watching the same old formulaic shit over and over.

But I wouldn't hold it against anyone who didn't enjoy The Artist of The Tree of Life.

I get what you're saying...but I wouldn't call "The Artist" artsy fartsy. Tree of Life...yes. But the Artist was much "lighter" and generally more entertaining.

The "silent film" aspect was the only "artsy" thing about it.

I "disagree" with your assessment, but I'm "willing" to give movies like this a chance in the future, but I'll probably "read" the plot summaries beforehand so I won't go in expecting "something else".

I just realized when making another post that I've using quotations way too much. I don't know when it happened...but the post above is definitely an example.

Also...the girl in "The Artist" is hot as fuck.

I hate the backlash The Artist has received and I think the people on facebook and twitter bragging that they will never see it are really annoying, but calling it the best movie is highly debatable, and highly debated, so enough with the capital WAS.

I use commas like you use quotations.

i watched Hugo last night and really really loved it. I bought the 3D version and it was very well done. The story was very very captivating.

I didn't like it either. Ben Kingsley gets on my nerves. Cheer the fuck up. Nobody watches your movies anymore ... big wup, don't act like your whole family was slaughtered in front of your eyes. Couldn't stand the girl either ... You don't like boooooks. The whole thing lacked emotion.

I hated Melancholia more than anything. Glad it didn't get any nominations.
