Definitely agree. I remember the Pitt game 2 years ago...that was a very fun game with off and on rain.

I gonna love the 60 degree temperature. I can handle light rain...if we're winning, haha.

None of those games compares to the 1999 Hurricane Dennis game against South Carolina. Good God that was ridiculous, but a lot of fun in retrospect. Ruined a good pair of sneakers that day. Should have been prepared

I think it was 3-0. I was a freshman that year and walked to the stadium from Bragaw as well as back to campus after the game. Combine that with the hill of mud and torrential rain and I am pretty sure that is the wettest and dirtiest I have ever been.

Those days wen C-F had the grassy hill were awesome for rainy games. There was a game vs Wake in the early 2000s (maybe 2000 or 2002) that was another very rainy game. I remember band members sliding down the wet grassy hill (as well as the sidelines after the game). Rainy games are the best.

Not to be an ass, but genuinely curious - why bring a 21-month old to a game?

It seems like a great way to keep yourself and the people around you distracted. You will have to consistently tend to the child and your enjoyment of the game will be lessened. Also, the people sitting next to you may be annoyed or distracted by the child if he/she starts to cry or act up. (some) Kids tend to get frustrated if they can't have freedom of space and they definitely won't in the football stands.

Furthermore she is too young to understand the game or even remember going, so there doesn't really seem to be any payoff for either sides.

Again, I'm curious as to the reasoning here. I've noticed a lot of people bringing extremely young children to sporting events and other types of events/shows, even my brother did it with his 1-2 year old daughter, and it just confused the hell out of me.

we've wanted to bring our 3 year old daughter - already a huge wolfpack fan - to a game the last couple seasons but always ended up deciding not to. i think this year she's finally old enough to have a good time and not be a nuisance to others around us

she is in the good age range where she isnt buckwild and whiny if she cant run around (which she probably will be next season) and she out of the crying baby stage. And while she doesnt know the rules, she knows what football is and will watch part of games with me at home. I taught her how to howl like a wolf and she says "NC Stake" when she sees the block S logo.

We also dont plan on staying in the stands for the whole game, so a game that we could potentially blowout our opponent is a good time to bring her.

^6 Do you have any kids? I'd guess no, because you gain a whole new perspective when you have a little one. (PS, didn't mean to have a smart ass tone there).

We have a 6 month old and are planning to bring him out to the game this weekend. We have a huge tailgate group and some of these friends we hardly get to see except for football games, so it's a good opportunity for everyone to meet/see him. You don't want it too hot or too cold for a baby to be outside for any extended period of time, so this weekend's temperatures are ideal.
We'll have the in-laws there with us and I'm sure he won't make it through the whole game and my bride or the g-parents will likely leave early with him (maybe even before kickoff) but we'll see, this is our first try.

If people are considerate, if a kid get's fussy they'll take him/her up to the concourse so as not to bother anyone around them. It's just South Alabama, so hopefully it won't be an edge-of-your-seat type of game where many people will be leaving early and it won't be a big deal if you don't see every play. It's not like we're taking him to the FSU or UNC game.

Fair enough, you guys seem to have thought about it a bit which makes it perfectly fine for me. I feel like some people do it without thinking about it or caring that it might distract other people.

Regardless, football games are usually loud so it's not that distracting. What really bothers me is when a couple takes their 6-month old to a nice/expensive restaurant when you're on a date or other special occasion. The lack of respect for other people that those couples have is really unbelievable.
