Actually, the way everyone is BLAMING i think this is going to be a WTF Win. I think we've been playing down to the competition a little and the staff really didn't let Glennon do his thing until 2nd half of Wake. I really think the guys come out fired up.

I'm saying that GT and Cincy should be much better than WF. If we lose to WF, there is a good chance we'll lose to GT and Cincy as well. If we go into the bye better than 3-3 it will be cause for celebration, because everything so far is pointing towards losses in these next two games.

remember 2 years ago after the pitt game we won and we were 3-1 and looking confident? I remember specifically that TOB said "We are not a good football team" emphatically. then immediately after we lost 4 or 5 in a row including that home loss to duke. remember?

now we are 2-1 and the guy sounds totally opposite and confident in the "TOB tv show" http://www.gopack.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/091911aab.html

the guy is known for his blatant honesty so hopefully it's the case now. he was talking pretty bold how they could have thrown over the top all night against south alabama and they decided to grind it out and make it a game instead. ha

Wow this page sucks ass. Very little talk about the actual game or the football in general.

DJ Woods is going to light up our secondary Antonio Bryant style on Thursday. TOB said that both Reiskamp and Sweezy would travel with the team. Hopefully that means both will play.

I think that's the last thing we want. This is a game where we could really use Moose, a possession running back that keeps their offense off the field and prevents from getting into a real rhythm. We need to keep this game in the 30s, I think our offense can do that. The offense isn't explosive enough to take it to 50

I just hope to see the defense gambling a little even if it burns us. Just sitting back and giving up 10-12 yards every play makes me want to throw the remote across the room. We are so depleted on defense though that I know the coaches have little choice but to play it safe and hope for the best. Fucking injuries and lack of depth.

^^^yeah, that's true. I guess my point is that our offense needs to be very proficient in order to win this game. We have to control the clock to keep their offense off the field but we also have to put up points at the end of those extended drives. Because once their offense touches the field...

^Exactly. I usually like the defense to take the field first, so they can set the tone and that way the offense gets the ball to start the second half. However, I think if we win the toss we should elect to recieve. With our defense, I don't we can afford to play from behind.

I've been thinking about this all season and it really angers me. Do they expect key players to have an invincibility star during all the games? You have to be prepared and not use injuries as an excuse which he has been doing for years now. If my manager was like where is my project and I told him my pinky was hurting then he wouldn't be too happy with me. Our recruiting blows and we have no depth. It seems like it is going to be this way until TOB retires / is fired.

That is a terrible analogy.

I get what you are trying to say though about depth. Our problem is that we lost three guys in one area (D-Line) and only super deep teams are going to be able to manage that. What bothers me is when we lose a player like Manning and all the sudden we're looking at a true freshman with 3 or 4 practices under his belt potentially playing a big role. We have got to have better depth than that especially at a high risk position like LB.

^^ I am talking about Pittman. TOB talked about it on his radio show. Said he had only 2 practices under his belt (which I assume will be four come Thursday night). Either way, it is not good if Pittman sees a lot of playing time. Not because he does not have the talent, but simply because he is not ready.

I did not mean to imply that a true freshman would be starter. I know Maddox will be the starting, but Pittman likely see some action.
