She was cute in Dawson's Creek even if she was a frowny bitch the whole time

but she was weird in HIMYM

I liked her in Batman Begins, but I think that was only because I hated Maggie Gylenhall so much that almost anyone else would seem great in comparison

The Lilly/Marshall conversation about moving into the house with all of the sexual innuendo was pretty funny

Yeah, the bear was great. Marshall's Edgar Allan Poe monologue was great. But Barney's chase scene in the beginning was downright gold.

This season has been much better overall.

I actually like what the psychologist character is able to bring to the table. He's worked out.

I'd say so-so for the character, awful for the actor.

Surprised there wasn't any man-hug at the end. Pretty tough for Barney.

Who does he get married to?!?!

Some progression again is nice. I still love the show, but they need to rev-up the engine a little bit on the overarching story.

The worst part is Barney spent so long trying to convince Nora he was worth it. Robin just met Kumar recently, yet she was the one who wouldn't do the right thing?

it really makes you question who it is that he's getting married to for the season finale.

and i agree on them needing to rev things up.
its great that they want to show more of the barney situation, but since the show is meant to focus around ted it might be about time to make him dating again

they already hinted at another barney-robin-ted triangle...so ted will probably hook up with her too before she finally ends up with barney

Ugh why does evey sitcom I watch jump the shark with an unwed pregnancy???

30 rock...Scrubs...now this...

At least Elizabeth Banks isn't the one getting knocked up anymore.

Also happened in the Office but at least they were engaged already and it didn't dramatically effect a season arc.

EDIT: Not that I have anything against unwed pregnancies, I'm just sick of seeing it over and over on tv shows

^^an exceedingly pathetic troll attempt

That episode was terrible btw, the writers must think their audience is a bunch of easily duped hormonal bitches.

The Robin pregnancy fakeout was such a blatant and poorly executed bit of emotional manipulation that it was infuriating. They are treating Robin and Lilly like some mush-brained, baby crazy stereotype from the 50s. I don't find that amusing and it's fairly insulting to women.

I didn't think the episode was that bad and there were definitely a few laughs here and there. The Robin thing didn't make me mad, I just didn't get the point.

I would probably not still be watching if my wife didn't love the show though.

it was ok. the stuff with robin as a mom was kind of stupid, lame filler for this long drawn out story. the storyline with marshall & the kid was weaksauce. this show needs to pick up!!!

My theory is they made 2 episodes...one where she really was and one where she wasn't, and then waited to see how audiences reacted to the cliffhanger to decide if they wanted to go through with it or not.

Monday's episode was extremely weak. The only part that got an actual laugh out of me was the very end when Barney chose the bees over the crazy woman. They are going to lose viewers if they continue the trend of mediocre episode > 2-3 weeks of reruns > mediocre episode
