For the amount of people that were at the game, the RBC Center was loud when Harris hit the 3 get us near 100 and then the place went nuts on the dunk to make it 100. Give us something to be proud of and the RBC Center will be rocking this season.

In fairness to NC State shit, nearly all of them were 100% uncontested.

Somewhat related - it's hard to tell for sure at this point, but our screens look infinitely better this year. People were actually creating room between themselves and their defender on them...how much of this is due to us playing Flagler remains to be seen. Last year's 2/3 speed weak-ass screens were just painful. It didn't look like they were actually running them to get open before, just half-assed as if it was just something they had to do in order to get to the end of the set.

There is more movement of all 5 guys, which makes it easier to get Wood free off of curls, ball reversals, and penetration rather than just isos, screens, and double screens out top. A number of his opportunities and other 3 point looks for the team came in transition, and Flagler was noticeably sagging into the lane in the first half.

The new guys looked like they may be small contributors. What's worrisome is that Lobron and The Poet had pretty awful games.

We looked like shit defensively. We rushed it a little on offense and took a lot of shots we won't get in a game so it was hard to tell how far along we are.

Overall, fairly pleased but cautiously optimistic. I certainly didn't leave with the impression that we're better than 50/50 to make the tournament.
