won't be the first poll we skewed, or got reset, or possibly get banned from.
4/23/2012 2:41:53 PM
4/23/2012 2:42:01 PM
and it certainly won't be the last
4/23/2012 2:42:11 PM
in my opinion, if their poll sucks enough to be skewed, then it deserves to be skewed. they should've tied it to registered, authenticated espn users.
4/23/2012 2:46:15 PM
Yea the Staats Battle one was more locked down than this and we still won that bitch. If they are too lazy to set it up right then screw 'em. BTW Aggies are using it to good effect and coming on strong.
4/23/2012 2:53:06 PM
voted about 2500 times
4/23/2012 2:56:58 PM
^Don't be such a wuss and vote more often faggot.
4/23/2012 2:58:29 PM
A&M has moved into 2nd, 5,500 behind us.[Edited on April 23, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Reason : lol, unc has 401 votes]
4/23/2012 3:00:14 PM
they'll probably pass us in 10 min or so...
4/23/2012 3:01:14 PM
NCHEATSU
4/23/2012 3:02:15 PM
should make it so everytime someone visits this thread that's 50 votes[Edited on April 23, 2012 at 3:02 PM. Reason : yo ernie is that some kind of japanese cookware]
4/23/2012 3:02:33 PM
The Aggie board says they upped the votes to 100. So they got a 2:1 ratio going on us. Probably should even the odds.
4/23/2012 3:04:09 PM
^^ do it
4/23/2012 3:05:20 PM
A&M is gaining ground! we need more votes!!
4/23/2012 3:05:28 PM
I love seeing how long it takes before these polls get reset
4/23/2012 3:06:45 PM
Send the other forums and their blogs hosting the script a cease and desist notice. You wrote it, get them on the technicality.
4/23/2012 3:07:34 PM
change the counter from 50 votes to some ungodly number. We can't let A&M steal our script and win this thing.
4/23/2012 3:08:15 PM
4/23/2012 3:08:17 PM
clinging to a 2.5k lead
4/23/2012 3:08:38 PM
a&M has some crazy voting script going now. gaining like 1,000 votes a minute
4/23/2012 3:08:49 PM
^No it is our voting script running with a 100 vote submission, vs. us at 50 a click. Somebody gotta fix that shit Staat!
4/23/2012 3:10:21 PM
I think reading the other board's reactions to the poll skew is better than the skew itself.
4/23/2012 3:10:28 PM
Yes it has made for some enjoyable reading this afternoon. But I still want to win!
4/23/2012 3:12:19 PM
^agreed.also it looks like espn removed the option to use an email address to vote? i wonder if the script will bypass that still. that would be pretty hilarious.
4/23/2012 3:12:24 PM
i would never do such a dastardly thing ]
4/23/2012 3:13:00 PM
yeah, you can only vote using facebook connect now.
4/23/2012 3:13:12 PM
yeah ok[Edited on April 23, 2012 at 3:14 PM. Reason : .]
4/23/2012 3:13:13 PM
hahahaha this is hilarious. leave it to the A&M schools to figure this out immediately.
4/23/2012 3:14:02 PM
i think that the script still works though. We're still up by like 1k.
4/23/2012 3:15:45 PM
Hate to say that I was born in Texas and was an A&M kid when I was real little. Then we moved to NC and State fit so naturally. The evil Texas became the assholes at UNC, and the spoiled rich kids at Rice turned into Duke. Gotta respect them for figuring it out, unlike the little crybabies at Nebraska.
4/23/2012 3:16:03 PM
yeah the script still works. that is hilarious. gg, ESPN.
4/23/2012 3:16:32 PM
Can someone post the script on this page?
4/23/2012 3:17:19 PM
Looks like it still works. No way in hell is there 1000+ facebook votes already for us...

4/23/2012 3:19:14 PM
Can we update the script so that it does more than 50 votes?
4/23/2012 3:19:29 PM
nvm]
4/23/2012 3:21:10 PM
i just used the emails of like 6 different law school classmates of mine.

4/23/2012 3:24:09 PM
lol at the outside sales meme being used.
4/23/2012 3:25:13 PM
from A&M board:
4/23/2012 3:26:34 PM
4/23/2012 3:29:08 PM
also i looked at the source on that aggies tumblr. they have it voting 1000 times, but the button says 100.
4/23/2012 3:31:04 PM
Guess I shouldn't have posted the code. Sounds like their guy forgot to change the second reference to the value in it and just corrected his mistake by a ton. At what point does a pollskew become a ddos?
4/23/2012 3:31:58 PM
AGGIE GUYS NOT SO HIGH PER SINGLE CLICK! YOU WILL BREAK ESPN.Duh.

Too bad there's not a way to block their script from working.
4/23/2012 3:33:50 PM
That would still do 100, need to change the 99. Bad idea though, too much voting has the potential to turn into a ddos.
4/23/2012 3:34:00 PM
i haven't gotten shit done since around 1 pm when i clicked on this thread
