part of what makes him so good (other than his knack for hilarious storytelling) is that he's not over saturated...a few hours during the week and a few on Saturday morning, only during football season.

Joe and Adam are the best of the local guys...might not be saying much. But they're miles ahead of fucking Dave Glenn. And Mark and Mike, or whatever their show is called.

Only time I'll listen to DG is when he has an interesting guest. At least Adam and Joe are bearable.

Ovies and Gold have their moments, but overall I enjoy the show...

I don't live in the triangle anymore, and I will just say that there are shows/programs FAR WORSE than them in other areas of the south. There is a reason they aren't on a bigger network, but that doesn't mean they are rookies/piss poor, either. (I think that is a compliment, it is supposed to be one)

I think Ovies and Gold together are pretty decent.. definitely my favorite of the local shows. I cringe whenever one Gold is out and Ovies has to fill 3 hours by himself though. I think the producer Shannon is my favorite personality on the show.

i used to love them. then i just got tired of their shtick. but that's not their fault. it's what sports journalism has become in general. everybody saw EDSBS get popular, tried to copy them, and now don't understand they all sound like shit and aren't nearly as witty as they think.

and steve logan comes across as a guy that makes it abundantly clear why he's no longer coaching. dude got passed by by the game.

Living in Richmond for a couple of years, I didn't realize how good (relatively), triangle sports radio is.

The local sports radio here is terrible.

David Glenn should be used like Logan is now; give him a 1-2 hour spot as a guest once a week. He knows his ACC sports, but hearing him repeat himself 40x/day trying to fill 15 hours a week is just painful. I enjoy Mike and Mark on 620 in the mornings.

I don't live in NC anymore, but when I did I'd find myself listening to Mike and Mike in the mornings (didn't/don't really care for Mark and Mike, although they aren't awful). I was on the road a lot for work so I'd listen to DG in the afternoons...although I really couldn't stand him. Adam and Joe are my favorites, but given my schedule I didn't get to listen to as much of them as I'd like.

Adam and Joe have been a little bit better of late for me, I think its because Joe seems like he is starting to hate Adam. There have been quite a few times over the last month or so that I thought they were going to come to blows

Mark and Mike is the worst show on the radio, sports talk or not. Chris Morris comes across as a condescending douchebag. I cant believe those three fat asses are actually televised locally

oh and I think my comment from the sports talk radio thread about David Glenn is perfect so I'll put it here:

i agree with those who say they're the class of the local folks down there. and they're better than most sports talk guys around the country.

the problem is they get a shtick and run it in to the ground. it wasn't so bad 2 years ago. just in the last 6-8 months
