It went for W in 04. It is a little strange though.

I tried streaming the Faux News coverage, but I really can't tolerate their B D team any longer....

Whoa, on Politico Wake County just went nuts for Obama... +12 with 100% reporting.

Still, Romney carries NC.

Wake County went basically the same way as it did 4 years ago. Obama won by 64,000 votes in 2008 and it looks like he's going to win it by around 60,000 this time.

Oh my God, enough with this Hungarian fuck..

I hope Thomas Petterfy's hedge fund collapses tomorrow.

** Obama's vote numbers in Cuyahoga County in Ohio is incredible. Already at 244k reported votes for him. 250k was considered a good number.

We'll be lucky if Florida is called before the sun comes up. Ohio will probably be another hour or two.

But then, I thought they'd have NC called for Romney by 9:15 so I obviously have no idea when they'll be calling these.

What's the magic number for a recount?

Obama is looking like he'll PROBABLY carry Florida by about 80-100k or so from what I can extrapolate.

[Edited on November 6, 2012 at 10:56 PM. Reason : NONE of nyc has reported popular vote numbers either. calm down CNN.]

At 9:16 pm, email

MoRon --

I'm about to go speak to the crowd here in Chicago, but I wanted to thank you first.

I want you to know that this wasn't fate, and it wasn't an accident. You made this happen.

You organized yourselves block by block. You took ownership of this campaign five and ten dollars at a time. And when it wasn't easy, you pressed forward.

I will spend the rest of my presidency honoring your support, and doing what I can to finish what we started.

But I want you to take real pride, as I do, in how we got the chance in the first place.

Today is the clearest proof yet that, against the odds, ordinary Americans can overcome powerful interests.

There's a lot more work to do.

But for right now: Thank you.

Barack

if true, it's just more proof that you have to run an actual candidate, as opposed to just running to defeat the other guy. It didn't work for Dole, and it didn't work for Kerry. Maybe the parties will figure it out one day. but I doubt it

I'm hearing a lot of whooping and cheering on the streets of Chicago.

I wish I was over at McCorrmick Place tonight, but having two toddlers in tow seems like a bad idea.
