So I am in Texas, and I just saw a dude walking around with a UNC shirt and I immediately started getting pumped up for the game, thinking that he was also pumped for the game. If you are going to use Jimmy V as the reason that State fans can't talk about all of the scandals at UNC, does that mean UNC is also going to give themselves the death penalty? Because that's the only way that statement is reasonable.

In my opinion, UNC's days as the "flagship" university are numbered. NCSU has been climbing the engineering ranks swiftly since I started there back in '05. The campus is growing and it's becoming harder to get in. We're getting state-of-the-art facilities on Centennial. The city itself has grown tremendously in the past 10 years as RTP and technology become of the focus of the local economy and job market. Guess where that money and research is going to go? It's only a matter of time.
