I decided to put in a tie breaker - bench points - instead of leaving ties out there, since it does not appear that I can allow partial points in any of the settings.

Still possible, obviously, but much less likely. I didn't want to use a single player (QB,RB,WR,TE) to determine the winner since each of us would be biased as to which one to choose ... I figure bench is a safe alternative that everyone can equally modify going forward if they are worried about losing a tie.

Well, week 1 was some bullshit.

Had about a 25 point win projected going into MNF, but the Texans and DeSean Jackson did just enough to give me a 1 point loss 116-115.

Hats off to Taylors Termites. Even though it was a lucky win!
