^^Yep. DL should be pretty ridiculous this year. If you're going to be strong anywhere other than QB, I'd start with DL. So at least we've got that going for us.

I'm actually pumped to see this Matt Dayes kid run the ball. Judging from his videos (which can be deceiving, I know) he looks really really good.

It is refreshing to go into the season with things totally open ended... after the disappointing year last year with all the hype it is nice to not be expecting anything, one way or the other.

I don't remember having a lot of hype last year. Even in the preseason we had holes all over that team (worst group of linebackers in my lifetime at State...bad OL...suspect RBs/WRs).

That being said...just having a new coach is refreshing, and I wasn't exactly a TOB hater. It's a breath of fresh air.

Yeah I look forward to being at the game on Saturday simply due to the fact I dont really know what to expect. New coaching staff, new system, etc. all leads to at least some excitement.

He was on a couple (actually...I just think it was one) lists as a "dark-horse" candidate.

Amerson might have been on one or two lists as a dark horse candidate as well. So basically...they were outside everyone's top 20.

But JB likes to keep building up NC State's team last year because it was the singular good moment for his team. That and paying respect to Lattimore's injury. Good job Vols.
