We won by 21. We also beat App by 21, Florida Gulf Coast by 20, and Eastern Kentucky by 19. They looked bad, but it wasn't like they were far and away the worst team we've played.

Hate to say it but Vandy was out. Completely different team with him being out there.

Moves Freeman to 4 and TJ Buckets to the 3 which are their natural positions.

"Real happy that Freeman ended up with a double double after all that hard work. The more I see of him, the more I agree with the Howell comparisons that were made... hope he doesn't wait around until his junior year to get ripped like Rich.
"

1. Freeman is only 17 years old. He should be a senior in high school right now, to be honest.
2. He is already pretty dadgum built for a kid that age. Not many 20-22 year olds in college have his frame.
3. Howell came into college a little heavy (not Anya heavy, but heavy) and then got heavier his 2nd year due to an injury(back i believe?). When he got healthy and serious, he buckled down and lost his weight and became the beast we remember him as.

Still can't wrap my head around he fact that Vandenberg is such an important piece to this team. Just stinks it took him until his senior year to get serious about conditioning/work ethic. Could have been another great piece last season.

I still think Washington is going to be a really good player...kid has skills, just has to get a little stronger and catch up to the speed of this game. It might come towards the end of this year, next year, or as an uppperclassmen. It just nice that Freeman and Vandy have come on so he isn't forced into too much action right now (same goes for Anya). Our frontcourt looks pretty solid for the next couple years...which is nice.

Remember when we lost to NC Central and some "fans" thought it was the demise of our basketball program?

TJ was also in foul trouble against Central nearly all game. He fouled out pretty early in the 2nd half too. Not excusing the loss, but we seemed to lose our identity without him in the game.

And yeah, Vandenburg.

Just saw we only had 5 turnovers all game -- and I think at least 3 of those were alley-oop attempts that went awry.

Even against shit teams, that's impressive.

face being one of them, but it's not like his opinion matters.
