Solid first episode of the season.

Glad they aren't holding back on the creepy/gory side of things. A lot of the things looked similar to how I pictured them when reading the books. Oh and FEEEEEELEEERS!

Last episode was great. I don't like the flashbacks so I was glad this episode didn't have them.

I was surprised the vampire good guys died so easily lol. I thought they were better than that.

Last episode was terrible, like most of the rest of them. They killed off the only slightly cool/interesting thing they had left (the tactical vampire squad) right at the point where it looked like they might actually, finally, show them doing something cool. The son is such a terrible fucking actor. im still watching, but I'm not really sure why.

^Meh, just sounds like the show isn't for you. Thought the episode was fine.

I also think the kid's acting is fine, the character is suppose to piss you off, in the book he was one of the worst/most annoying characters, hell I hated Eph in the books. He is suppose to be an annoying kid that makes horrible decisions.

We also didn't see the tactical squad die, just saw them go under the ground, could easily have been captured. Also what are the odds that they're the only "soldiers" that group has?

Why did the guy set off the dynamite? He completely sabotaged that warrior's plan. I didn't see the purpose in setting off the bomb.

because the entire series is entirely focused on buildup that looks like it could be potentially awesome and then not paying off at all. There was no way they would show you that awesome fight that everyone actually wanted to see. They dropped in those awesome looking vampire hunters last season, and then did almost nothing at all with them, until they were easily dispatched of by an old white dude. I was quite worried that they were going to do the same thing with this new half breed hunter, but thankfully they at least showed him murdering the monkey kids. Hopefully this new trend in the last couple of episodes of some shit actually happening continues, it is getting better. Also no mexican dudes just hanging out in an Indian restaurant for absolutely no apparent reason was nice.

They explained it pretty well why he used the dynamite. Blame Abraham, he said they had to bring the building down on The Master and not worry about Quinlan or anyone else in the building. Though it was quite obvious that Abraham wasn't doing well physically when he walked in the room, it would have been 2-on-1 with Quinlan as Abraham would have surely been killed.

The vampire-hunter squad going down felt like they were trying to mess with book readers as most thought initially the leader of that group was Mr. Quinlan. All the vampire squad did was train Angel and show that Palmer was very prepared and one-step ahead of basically everyone not named The Master so far.

I'm a few episodes behind, but this show is mostly improving. Though I'm ready for the kid to be killed off. His story line adds nothing but annoyance.

Also, liked parts of the finale but overall pretty frustrating. I can appreciate that they're making Zack has hate-able as he was in the books, but at this point they've abandoned the books to the point that it's only similar in the title and character names.

Almost feel like I'm watching 2 different shows. I like everything with Abraham/Fet and dislike everything with Eph/Nora/Zack.
