heard on ESPN that Turner now has the longest active streak of games where he made at least one 3 pointer.

[Edited on November 15, 2014 at 8:32 AM. Reason : was scott wood the last person to have such a streak?]

^Does that Turner streak go back to his time at LSU?

No, it appears that he did not take a 3 pointer @Duke on January 18th last season. So it goes back to then.

^Wow, actually surprised that is good enough for the nation's longest streak.

i'll be honest i only watched about a quarter of the game, but is anyone else concerned with the fact that cat took the most shots with 13? or was that just the flow of the game?

Not surprised that he took them. Surprised that he made 'em.

Doesn't concern me. Lacey only played like 23 minutes, and in a regular game I'd expect Lacey to probably lead the team in shots. With the exception of a couple of shots, I didn't think Cat was necessarily forcing anything. Our backcourt was far superior to Jackson St's and basically did whatever they wanted. I wouldn't read much into it.

He's probably been told to shoulder some of that production that left with Warren by the coaches at well. He was looking for his shot all night, but wasn't selfish about it.

Get used to Cat and Lacey taking the most shots. They're our most advanced offensive players and its not even close.

also, I was impressed with his 8-10 free throw shooting. Cat's fast enough to get to the line just about anytime he wants, so if he can stay close to that rate, that's going to be an extra weapon in his arsenal.

Barber could be Iverson or Javi Gonzales at this point.

Team looks talented and deeper than we are used too. I liked how much we ran the press, would love to see that going forward against quality teams. There are going to be some ugly games this year though, not too many skilled scorers so the bigs are really going to have to mix it up and get putbacks.

Yeah it's only one game so it's hard to draw many conclusions either way...but I'm worried our frontcourt won't be as good as I expected (our backcourt may be better though).

If Barber's 3 ball is legit, that's a game changer. Having 3 guys who can hit a 3 on the court should create some nice space for us.
