My landlord decided to be a douche and raise my rent 40%. So, as a big Fuck You to the guy, I'm overlapping my new apartment and old apartment until next week and AirBnB-ing or Home-Away'n it out for the superbowl as I move into my new (rent controlled) place.
So....if you know any panther's fans who wants to stay in SF proper (a few blocks away from CalTrain) in a half-empty apartment.......hit up the Jesus. Just don't fuck up my security deposit and we'll be all set.
I'm kidding...but not really. Hit me up. 1/30/2016 11:32:17 PM |

An Uber from SFO to the stadium would likely be more than your ticket.
Easiest way I've found to get to the stadium (especially if you're coming from the East Bay) is to take BART to Fremont, then hop on a VTA bus: http://www.vta.org/superbowlsun
I don't know that it's the fastest way, but it was uncrowded both for a normal Niners game and for WrestleMania.1/31/2016 4:51:45 AM |

From ESPN Twitter, in 12 of the last 13 Super Bowls, the QB of the AFC team has been either Brady, Manning, or Roethlisberger. The one oddball is Joe Flacco. 2/2/2016 12:28:56 PM |

It's because the AFC is shit and has been for a long time, especially the East and South. The West rarely produces more than one good team each season, leaving the North as the only competitive division with multiple teams that are consistently good. The problem is they end up beating each other up and not having home field in the playoffs vs the other teams who cruised through their divisions. The NFC Divisions are usually more competitive and produce more good team than there are playoff spots, although not this year. 2/2/2016 1:28:07 PM |

Thinking about what you said on division strength, and looking at the AFC East after the '02 realignment, who is the best QB that has been in that division after Brady?
Wild card berths per division since '02:
AFC East: 4 AFC North: 11 AFC South: 7 AFC West: 6
NFC East: 9 (none since the '09 season) NFC North: 7 NFC South: 6 NFC West: 6

Probably Fitzpatrick, take your pick of Bills or Jets version
New England has been great, of course, but its a lot easier to be great when your division opponents are starting the likes of JP Losman, Trent Edwards, EJ Manuel, Kyle Orton, Jay Feidler, AJ Feeley, Gus Frerotte, Joey Harrington, Cleo Lemon, Chad Pennington, Chad Henne, Matt Moore, Ryan Tannehill, Brooks Bollinger, Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith. 2/2/2016 2:46:27 PM |

Chad Pennington is probably better, even with his noodle arm.
Also there was Favre, even though he kind of sucked that year and didn't get good again until he was with the Vikings. 2/2/2016 5:48:58 PM |

Okay. I need real OPINIONS because I can't make my mind up. If your team was in the Super Bowl and you had a chance to fly out to do all the pre-party stuff from Friday to Sunday morning... NFL Awards, see all the shows, etc. and it cost 218 to fly and you already have the flight with Southwest (which you can move to another trip if you don't go).....knowing you DON'T have an actual ticket to the game, but could possibly be getting one.......and if you Don't get it you have the option to fly Direct from SF to CLT for 218.00 and would arrive at 330PM (Way before kickoff and enjoy it with 1,000's of people in Charlotte and Dilworth Neighborhood Grille) Would you do it? Or would you just go to Charlotte for the entire weekend....Real question for some real answers TWW lurkers. #KEEPPOUNDING 2/4/2016 10:24:28 PM |

I booked my hotel on February 4th for $299 a night. It's 2.5 miles from the stadium.

^^ congrats. I saw comparable apartments in Jack London Square where I live for $200-$300 a night just a few days ago though, so I probably could have gotten it if I wasn't worried about my leasing company finding out. Being close to a BART station, train station, and the ferry docks to SF helps. 2/6/2016 7:07:39 PM |

I made a bet with a friend from Denver...loser sends winner $50 and a 6-pack bottles of local brew (nothing big like Coors, only stuff you likely can't get outside of Denver or Charlotte).
I need suggestions but I don't want to jinx anything here...so what would you ask for from Denver and what would you send from NC? 2/7/2016 9:52:45 AM |
