I've seen his draft stock rising significantly. Already being mocked as a Day 2 pick.

If he keeps it up we might be looking for a new QB next year.

as much as I want Finley to stay, if his production stays at this pace, he should leave. Next year is a rebuilding year, plus we lose Tony Adams and Cole Cook for pass protection. He already has a degree, and he can probably scoop up a master's by the end of the spring semester.

can't blame him if he leaves, but "rebuilding" is probably a stretch for next year. defense will be inexperienced but we return a ton offensively.

Yeah other than Adams, Cook, and Samuels, our O should still be very potent next year.

Returning 4 starting OL.
Returning top 2 RBs and adding in top 5 RB in the class Ricky Person.
Returning 5 top WRs.

Only gotchas could be if guys like Hines or Richardson decide to go pro early.

Obviously defense will lose a ton of experience/starters, but I think we're finally at a position roster-wise where the guys starting next year replacing them won't all be true or redshirt freshmen and they'll be a little more prepared physically.

I think we'll be more of a spread out, downfield passing attack next year, although that could depend on whether Hines goes pro or not

Went back through the Pittsburgh game and almost all of our run plays, including both 40+ yd TD runs, were outside zone stretch right - with Adams, Richardson, and Cook throwing the key blocks. Defense is rebuilding which means we won't be playing with the lead as much, lose our top run-blockers, defenses will be able to focus more on playing against the pass. We should still be very good on offense, but it won't make Finley look as efficient. He'll have to press more, take more risks - more INTs. And he isn't gaining anything from staying - he has his degree.

WR, OL, RB, and QB should be fine next year, but who do we have at TE? That's the only position where I can't even name our backup.

Dyaln Parham...some guy with a tough last name...Autrienh or something.

Not too worried about tight end. I feel like the incoming freshman (Person), will fill that Jay-Sam role. Kid is a beast.

Damien Darden is the highly recruited pass catcher, not sure if we have another blocker like Cook in line

Autenrieth has been playing quite a bit this season in the cole cook role. Theyve actually had some formations with both he and cook at the end of the line. He and cook have almost identical body types, so its easy to get them confused. Also, theyre both white

Finley is a mother fucking boss. One bad throw on the pick and one missed throw to Harmon...but he lit up Clemson's secondary.

I'd feel really good going into next year if I knew he was coming back. He'll knock Glennon out of the top trio of Wolfpack great QBs if he comes back.

He's already graduated. 4th (at least) year in college. He would be drafted if he's just over school at this point.

if i'm selling him on one more year, he's got a chance to be the star of an offense that'll be much like this year's d, with all our experience on the offensive side of the ball. our receiving corps will be stacked with meyers, harmon, riley, and louis, and we'll have a backfield that will feature hines if he stays, gallaspy, and ricky person.

i've seen one mock with him going in the top 10 for next year's draft. he could solidify that with another year.

What? Nah. He's had other long runs at state like that. And it hasn't changed his style. I don't think he's gonna start thinking he's got Lamar Jackson's wheels. It's nice that he's not immobile like Glennon back there, but lol at thinking he's gonnna start taking off every time and running.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go. But the offense (and he) could put up insane numbers next year.
