No issue with saying a very good or even best group at State, but that isn’t what was said. He said best he’s ever seen. But he is also just trolling and not worth a real response.

Also our crew from 2002 and 2003 were both strong and easy enough to argue as good if not better than current.

for the "finley isn't clutch" argument...i get it, he's had chances and come up short. but obviously the Wake game last year and Clemson game the year before are pretty obvious instances of Finley doing his job and the loss being due to other factors. also, any time the defense gives up 51...i'm not gonna say that the our starting QB was the problem. throw for close to 500 yards and score 41 points...that ought to win most games. so yeah, he didn't lead us to a game winning drive and he's not a perfect QB (lol at justin thinking we or anybody else thinks finley is the #1 pick), but my takeaway from that game isn't "finley needs to be more clutch".

I meant the best group ever at NC State and currently what is arguably the best in the country. Not best ever in the NCAA.

There have been better individual receivers at NC State (Torry Holt, mainly), but I don't think there's ever been a group here as deep and as good as this one.

it is like a curse. even horrendous qbs can do things like throw horrible passes that DBs whiff on that then turn into TDs to win a game. yeah riley makes that catch and hes done it. or angeline catches the td and this isnt a convo. emezie fumbling at the goal line last year. it is a comedy, and of course for it to be this extreme its more than just not executing. its ridiculously bad fortune

He has no 4th Q comebacks. But to be fair the Clemson loss in 2016 and wake loss in 2017 should’ve been clutch wins based on what he did on the final drives. But a missed FG and fumble at the goal line negated that.
