Great game. But can someone please teach Timo how to stay on fucking sides? He’s gotta be more aware than that. He had two goals negated today by offsides and one last game. They were all easily avoidable.

I still struggle with what constitutes a penalty. The announcer said for sure should have been a penalty so I guess they missed it. If they make the penalty call on the field there I'm probably not arguing. But I just rewatched it like 6 times and I can't point to exactly where the foul is. I guess that's why VAR didn't overrule. Zouma's knee hitting the back of his thigh? Was there contact? I think so, but it's hard to tell for sure and how much. Did Sterling just stumble and fall when he felt Zouma lock step with him to try a draw a penalty? I don't know. That being said, if that no call went against Chelsea I'm probably mad

I wasn't so sure about the penalty called on us in the 1st half but I'm not sure of the rule. Jesus whiffs and becomes separated from the ball and is moving away from it. In doing so he runs out in front of Gilmour. Gilmour is trailing and makes a cut move behind Jesus for the ball he left behind. Gilmour's leg makes contact with Jesus's cleat and he falls down. I guess Jesus is still considered to have possession of the ball and therefore contact results in a penalty. The announcers questioned if he still had possession which is what made me question it. Watching live looked like a penalty too.

Thankfully Sergio tried to be cute with it and it didn't matter lol

Wow. What an ending. Hell of a header by the goalie.

West Brom were unfortunate on their goal negated by an offside player who didn’t play the ball. Guess they said he was blocking the goalie’s line of sight but I don’t see anyway he makes that save.

Spurs with the huge assist. What an absolute terrible game yesterday it seemed like nobody was up for it except maybe Chillwell. Our attackers were crap all game and the dynamic really didn't change in that regards until Havertz came on. While Tuchel has been really good we need a tall central striking presence when we play teams that are obviously going to put 10 behind the ball. Especially with the rain which limits the speed on the wings as footing was not great. I thought Silva had his 2nd worst game in a Chelsea shirt his playing a ball behind that didn't need and commiting the penalty was poor.

Jack Grealish is the type of player if he is on your team you love him but if not you hate him. He whines anytime anyone breathes on him but he dishes out hard challenges and seems to escape punishment from the referees.

What a match 1st half was intense. Its obvious that Tuchel was in Pep's head with the lineup choices.

Kante has cemented himself as a legend, Chelsea play completely different when he is on pitch.

On to the transfer market, which should be wild with the Big 6 EPL clubs all expected to spend this summer and almost all in the market for strikers.
