If we’re being serious, the only title we’re talking about is the ACC. And i think our O is definitely good enough to win it. Need consistency offensively that we didn’t have last year. We seemed too conservative at times and tried to establish the run when it simply wasn’t there. Kinda got away from our strength (passing) at times. Losing Emezie and Icky hurts for sure. Hard to replace them. But I think we’re a legit contender in the ACC.

Georgia’s secondary will be more veteran this year it was definitely a young unit in 2021. Obviously they lost a ton up front but will still be loaded on the DLine. But with Zavala cleared to play, I’m not terribly worried. Secondary could give Leary trouble. But what gives me the most confidence is that our D should eat Stetson Bennett alive. Probably close for a half but I’ll say Pack 31 Dawgs 13. Palindrome their asses.

I see a tweet from TheWolfpacker that an FCS QB is joining the team. Is that the super secret transfer? Feels odd to use a scholly on another QB when McLaughlin transferred out and Morris is a freshman (along with Leary and Finley obviously). Weren’t we already really tight on scholarships? IDK seems like he could have a legit chance at being the backup this year and then compete for the starting job next year season (if Leary leaves) assuming he has another year of eligibility bc of the covid year and i think he has 2 years where he only played like 4 games.

Don't really see him switching positions and jumping onto the depth chart at DB or WR. Maybe RB but IDK if he's big enough to be one and be effective at pass blocking

It might be! Even in that case I very much see him still being in the backup qb mix. He brings some solid production and athleticism to the table and if anything happened to Leary I'd feel more comfortable with him than with anybody else.

I don't understand this. Seems like he could have gone to lots of places, got a scholarship and and could be the guaranteed starter (or just stayed where he was). Instead he walks-on here knowing that, at best, he may win a back-up position?

Of course I'm fine with it, especially because it's not even taking a scholarship, but I don't get it.
