Then a wide open Zoe 3 attempt, then a perfect screen and roll with Miles as the trailer who couldn't commit, then Brooks took Hidalgo who had to back off but good help D, then Aziaha went to work hard to be mad about that, Hayes exploits a mismatch and gets fouled, then Aziaha ties it. Every single offensive possession in first OT got a good shot except maybe the first James take.

Lol with the UNC loss and the FSU win there's an actual chance that UNC doesn't get a double bye in the ACC tournament after going into the final week ranked #8 in the country

I think the only way this happens is if 1) UNC loses to UVA 2) Duke beats FSU and 3) Louisville bears ND. That would have Duke and UL tied at 3 with the tiebreaker going to Louisville. In that scenario, UNC would actually end up 6th because they would lose the head to head with FSU. I don't think there's any other way for them to miss out on a top 4 seed because of the way the tiebreakers work (winning % between tied teams, then record vs highest seeded team AKA us most likely)

So UNC can either get like 3rd place or 6th place if my limited research is correct. I'm not sure they can get 4th place or 5th.

Upon further thought, ignore that post.

I think the only way UNC doesn't get the 3 seed is if 1) UNC loses to UVA and 2) Louisville beats ND. That would have UL tied at 3 with winner of the Duke/FSU game and UNC tied for 5th with the loser. They would be 5th if Duke lost and 6th if FSU lost in this scenario. I don't think there's a way for them to end up the 4 seed as all the multiple team tiebreakers end up with them winning, as a result of either a higher winning percentage amongst tied teams or their win over us.

In conclusion, the funniest possible result would occur if we win, Louisville wins, Duke wins and UNC loses

I was wrong apparently! FSU is guaranteed a top 4 seed regardless of the outcome of their game. If Duke wins, they are 3, FSU is 4 and UNC is 5. If FSU wins, UNC will be the 4 seed.
