to jdbyrd: u can boost up to 50 in whatever game type u want to, what u do is set ur system to a random language, then in matchmaking restrict the search to find players only in ur language. have ur friends all do the same thing, then u will always be matched up and if u tie every game, u will get to 50.

for any of those that read my situation for lack of high speed internet on page 28, this here will serve as a follow up.

this past saturday, i installed the wireless internet system since DSL and cable is not an option.

it is all hooked up and i am running, on avg. 700k download, no idea on upload. keep in mind, this is all pretty much running on an air card through cell phone towers.

well, i tried xbox live and playing halo, and it works!!!!! well, kinda. i can play games with my friends, and matchmaking with little to no lag. some of the up close and personal melee attacks get a little choppy, and i have heard other competitors complain about my 'walmart internet connection'. campaign play is a definite NO GO right now, not sure why. must take alot more speed to push campaign.

anyways, i've ordered an amplifier for my setup which should boost the connection quite a bit. i should install that in a few days.

if anyone wants high speed and been told they can't have it, don't believe it right away. hit me up and i will give all the info i have.

so i made a map on sandpit that is multi flag CTF with the flags being up on top of the respective stone vaults on either side of the map...and the only way up there is a teleporter right below or a hornet which each team starts with...the flag "receptacles" for each team are on the elephants

it's pretty fun

Played with a group last night in ranked slayer where one guy refused to kill anyone on the other team and would come up to us and shoot us to bring our shields down.

Couldn't kick the fucker because he never technically killed us but the shit was annoying.

I'm wondering if I'll start seeing more of this bullshit.

If any of you guys are interested in having your shared Halo 3 videos accessible for online viewing/streaming, instead of having to que it up and have people download it to their xboxs to view, you can submit the video name and your gamer tag at geevee.com and it will grab the video for you and convert it/upload it to your geevee.com account. It's the GeeVeeGrab icon at the top of the page.

just FYI

basiclly all you have to do is.

enter your video name, xbox gamer tag, description of the video.

GeeVee grabs the video, converts it and uploads it to your GeeVee account.

Back in Halo 1, a friend and myself were grenade-launching the warthogs in campaign, and after blasting one into the air (it was the best one we'd had so far), we started to have a pistol fight, since we'd just die and respawn immediately. At one point he kills me and starts teabagging for about two seconds before the warthog randomly falls out of the sky and kills him. I would have taken a video if I'd known it would happen.
