he is making 3 mil and some change on the year. He has about 1.6 left at this point. Chicago picks up 800k and we pick up 800k

I used to love that kid. There's no better place for him to rediscover his scoring touch at this point than here, and he probably knows this is his last shot. Maybe Eric Staal can be his Joe Thornton.

I predict a Samsonov pissed-fest tonight against his former team.

i can get any of you bastards half off tickets of any kind to the game on feb 28th vs the rangers. I can only get about 4 though and they would be together most likely.

you would have to pay me up front by the 14th and pick them up from me by the 21st

yes i am that nice

Glen Wesley (flu) is out as well.

With Wesley and Whitney missing a game, only two players remain who have appeared in every Hurricanes game this season: Tim Gleason and Eric Staal.

no miracles in the thrashers game, tb is bordering on irrelevance and the panthers are down 3 with 8 minutes to go

die, jokinen. die.

Apparently, Alexei Ponikarovsky wasn't just embarrased when Cory Stillman stripped him of the puck as he stared down an empty net, launching Carolina's best comeback of the season on Dec. 18.

As Paul Maurice told the Toronto Sun:

"He's not been the same player. Alexei is a good man and I hope he's not carrying that game with him. But at a certain point, there are no other options. He has to play better."

Ponikarovsky hasn't recorded a point since.

Haha I love the Toronto Sun article he linked to http://torontosun.com/Sports/Hockey/2008/01/09/4760249-sun.html

Quote :
"The demon came looming from the North Carolina night, measuring four feet tall, six feet wide, a near-transparent white that luring a mesmerized Alexei Ponikarovsky closer before snatching his soul.

Three weeks later, that empty net in Raleigh still haunts the Maple Leafs forward, who hasn't had a point in eight games since. "

at least Devils fans know what it's like to win a cup, rather than, um.... not winning one.

the fact that buffalo fans have an unwarranted snobbiness about them despite never winning a cup.
