I'm in a money league where the guy I'm playing this week just started Jason Campbell over Philip Rivers.
So far, that's the only thing keeping me in the game. 10/4/2009 2:55:48 PM |

Why do the Saints always wait til the 2nd half to play Pierre Thomas.
Scared the crap out of me last week. Thought he wasn't going to play.
I have an insurmountable lead already this week, but it's still annoying. 10/4/2009 6:09:10 PM |

I would just like to congratulate myself on picking up the 49ers Defense in a plug and play. I'll take 37 points from a D any time.
make that 38.

with my luck, i played the league's token fantasy panther homer on their bye week, so he plays the 49ers defense and gets 29 pts 10/4/2009 6:59:59 PM |

Oh yeah -- a big fuck you to the saints for twice going for it on 4th down and failing while in field goal range. I needed those ~5 or so points because I didn't play a TE this week.
Up 12 and facing Rivers, santonio, and minn defense. It's a long shot, but those players' matchups are ok for me.

With standard Yahoo scoring, my opponent has 23 points with just Rivers and Hines Ward left. The idiot started Westbrook, Jonathan Stewart, Dwayne Bowe, and Tennessee. San Francisco alone could win my game this week, lol. 10/4/2009 8:39:59 PM |

I did the same thing in one league. Luckilly, I was up 30 anyway. In the other league, I had Campbell in there instead of Garrard (also w/McNabb on the bench still). But, I'm up 50 there.
The best thing I did all season was trade Favre, Cadillac and DeSean Jackson for Marshall and Ronnie Brown. 2-0 since doing that.10/5/2009 12:55:49 AM |

FML, I pick up Garrard to replace Brees in his bye next week, Garrad gets hyped up, I am considering starting him over Brees, people say keep Brees, and now I lost again because of a shitty <10pt performance from Brees... 10/5/2009 9:18:57 AM |

ok my friend is down 3 points to another guy and only has one spot open to play tonight. We play with a defense utility player(any defense player) so I guess what i'm asking is.....who is one defensive player for the Vikings or Packers that you can see getting a sack, a bunch of tackles or a pick. Any one of those and he probably wins. 10/5/2009 9:30:30 AM |

do you think this is a fair trade
Mario Manningham, Lesean McCoy, and LT for Brandon Marshall and Brandon Jacobs? 10/5/2009 12:47:23 PM |

my general rule is if you're giving more guys than you're getting, it's probably lopsided in your favor based on quality. 10/5/2009 12:53:53 PM |

I do
LT is underperforming and the other 2 are backups, ones who had a decent week last week
I really like Jacobs from here on out and its obvious Marshall is going to be featured week to week 10/5/2009 12:54:33 PM |
StingrayRush All American 14628 Posts user info edit post |
so how does that make it a fair trade for the other guy? 10/5/2009 12:57:42 PM |
GenghisJohn bonafide 10252 Posts user info edit post |
I was proposed this trade
I get: Derrick Mason
I give: Mendenhall and Meachem
I've got Turner, Addai, Slaton, and Fred Jackson to fill 2 RB and 1 flex spot
there's also a W/T slot, my receivers are weak, because we also start 3 WR, and I have Reggie Wayne, Santonio Holmes, Josh Cribbs (we get return yardage), and Donnie Avery
So basically I have a glut of RBs and not much receiving, Mason would be rad to go in the W/T slot, and while Mendenhall went crazy last night, I doubt he is going to sustain it with Pittsburghs dogshit Oline
what say you, TWW? I think I might do it. 10/5/2009 1:51:47 PM |

Here's my team:
QB Peyton Manning WR Marques Colston WR Chad Ochocinco WR Devery Henderson RB Marshawn Lynch RB Carnell Williams TE Jeremy Shockey K Nate Kaeding DEF Minnesota QB Trent Edwards WR Mohamed Massaquoi WR Steve Breaston RB Kevin Smith RB LaDainian Tomlinson TE Vernon Davis
Should I accept Colston for Brandon Jacobs? I don't think my WR are strong enough without Colston, but I'd love to have a real #1 RB, because LT isn't lookin so hot, Kevin Smith is alright usually, Cadillac is ok if he's healthy but the Bucs play from behind a lot, and who knows about Marshawn..10/5/2009 10:04:43 PM |
