I cannot stand the celtics, that bullshit flop by Pierce right there is a prime example of why I hate them so much.

i think of it as getting even for all of Derek Fisher's hansbroughesque shots and the ron artest junk from earlier

you'd think the refs would have learned not to whistle so fast, but guess not

Pierce has never committed a foul in his NBA career, nor has he ever taken a contested shot where he was not fouled

pierce doesn't really whine, he just acts, kobe is actually the biggest whiner and bitcher of this era outside of rasheed, he's racked up a ton of technicals throughout his career

Without Bynum the Lakers have their noses open.

What a great series, but its nice to see the Celtics win another championship over the overrated Lakers.

Kobe was amazing in the 3rd quarter. He looked unstoppable.

Congratulations.

He was wildly off in the first half when the Celtics built their lead and he was pedestrian again in the 4th quarter.

The hilarious thing about Kobe is that he takes really difficult shots. When he hits them he's the best player on earth but when he misses them there are ready made excuses.

Look at it this way, he's now played in 7 finals.

He's beaten the Nets, 76ers, and Pacers with Shaq. He's beaten the Orlando Magic when they had one good player. He's lost to Detroit and Boston twice so he's now 4-3 in the NBA Finals with loaded teams.

Why are we so pre-conditioned to loving guys who score? You'd think the average fan would identify with the guy who gives his team the best chance to win? Instead, we as fans gravitate towards those who seek attention and make the "spectacular" play rather than those who make the winning plays. That's why shows like Sportscenter get great ratings and winning players go down in obscurity.

i'd rather ask him a straightforward question when he trolls and see how he finds a way to avoid answering it

ps dweedle: you do know that the arena tonight was filled with 20,000 patriots fans, dont you?

I think it's telling how all of the Celtics' big guns had a good game...and they still struggled to win.

I'm still convinced Lakers win in 7...they play drastically different when they're home. Gasol, Odom, and the rest of the gang should be more comfortable and show up as a result.

i just hope once this gets to game 7, the refs might actually call game 7 consistently throughout

they've been horrendous all series, and just because they've screwed over both the lakers and celtics with calls, i don't think that "balances things out"

i thought my post earlier was clear that i knew they were in New England

i think it's a little more interesting if Kobe has that one green 'kryptonitic' team that he can't beat when it matters

and im not so sure it's going to go 7 after Phil fed Doc that bulletin board material

kobe, the crowd, and the refs wont allow boston to win in 6

maybe 7, but not 6

neither will david stern or espn/abc

I think bulletin board material is overrated, especially at this point in the series. Both teams should be playing at their highest intensity...the Celtics because they're one win away from a championship, the Lakers because they're one loss from going home. If you're not playing at your highest level and need "bulletin board material" to get there, then you don't deserve to win.

If the Celtics play well, I'm sure people will allude to the quote though because people are idiots.

ray allen airball hit the rim?

kobe was the greatest player of all time tonight.

The lakers are so fucking soft. no d. no rebounds. nobody that will go up and make a layup over contact. nobody will even foul

the lakers had no hard fouls. they just let guys run under the basket and lay it in. WTF. what a waste of kobes all time greatness.
