FSU over Miami 21-7

Solid game for Thompson with all three scores. I don't know if Manuel even had 100 yards passing. I probably bored Steven to death, but I felt like a played an almost perfect game. Played smart and executed every play on both sides of the ball. FSU coach Jaybee Twelvehundred proved himself to be the ultimate sportsman by kneeling on the Miami 1 yard line at the end of the game. I imagine that Jacory Harris is awfully tired after all those 20-yard drops...

FSU has now locked up an ACCCG date with their favorite opponent, the Fightin' E Men of Lexington.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that Harris was consoled after the loss by the stripper pole in a luxury suite before fucking a prostitute on a jet ski. It all evens out.

Pack comes back and beats Penn State 21-13. Could not stop Redd to save my life at the start and got down 10-0. Once again my offense was dismal in the first half. I think we had two plays (one each) where our offense turned the ball over and the defense fumbled it back to them. Moooooose broke a 90 ydr to extend the Pack's one pt lead to 21-13. GG iceman72


Pack will play the winner of the PSU/WVU game in the Big East championship. Once VT got the RROD, it was pretty much over for Division B

Clemson falls to #18 Arkansas 27-21. Clemson down 20-0 in the 3rd quarter before RS sophomore Danny McElveen took over after starting QB Tajh Boyd was sidelined with injury. McElveen rallied the Tigers and was able to cut the lead to only 6 with less than 5min to go. A Razorback fumble gave Clemson good field position but a wounded duck by McElveen inside the 5yd line sealed the loss. This marks the Tigers 4th conference loss as they fall to 7-4 overall.

Clemson hopes to close out the season on a good note with a win against hated rival South Carolina after the bye week.

How is it you guys can go this many days without being able to play?

I hope they wait for you since we can't afford to skip anybody but theres also a thin line between advancing within a reasonable time frame and having people losing interest. You really should be making every effort to play even if it means a little inconvenience.

I don't know your situations (hope they are damn urgent) but there are gamer cafes in most malls if you are out of town for a while just take your harddrive to any other xbox, pop it in and play. Sure its a bit of an inconvenience but its also being considerate of everyone else.

we're a couple/few games from the end of our first season, and we've been advancing at a pretty good pace thus far and everyone still seems to have plenty of interest

if we have to occasionally go 5 days or so between advancing, ok, as long as it isnt the norm

until later in the dynasty when people do start to lose interest

^^^Well I'll just tell you waiting 5 days here and there is the way people start to lose interest. Its the first sign of a dying dynasty.

I will never advocate skipping anyone because that automatically takes their interest to 0 but once you start to slow down, then people stop thinking about it as much and it starts taking longer and longer until you're either skipping half the people or you're just not advancing anymore.

My other dynasty has the opposite problem because they are a bunch of inpatient fucks who have forced away some good gamers by living by a 3 day rule of simulating games. One year they were on a 24 hour policy. There was way too much turnover.

I can't even imagine a way someone could go 5 days without being able to play though outside of a life changing event or being on an some island (lol. Even when I was in NC and had tons of people over the whole time , I managed to get out to a friends box and play. I was considering playing at the place in north gate mall if I needed to. I can't speak for everyones situation, but usually when this happens, its people simply being inconsiderate and hijacking the whole league to play at the pace they are most comfortable with at any given time.
