Sherman's going to do his stupid reel thing every time Ryan makes a bad pass and get burned on every good play by Ryan.

Georgia Dome holds 71,250 and they've never sold out for the entire season...they're usually between 10th-20th in attendance in the league

and in the past 2 decades, they've had 10 losing seasons, they've only been consisently good the last few years

I'm offended that someone would try to argue against Atlanta being an awful sports town

i'm not saying it's a great sports town. i'm saying it's not the worst, as people have been parroting for years without ever having spent any time in the city other than for some random conference.

so basically, if the falcons are typically between 10-20 in the league in attendance, they're generally better than about half the league? sounds like worst to me.

the Braves are in the middle of the league in attendance too, and they have been a good team for the last 2 decades

and the Hawks attendance obviously sucks

their NHL team left town due to lack of interest

they're not a good pro sports town

^^ agreed, it's not a great pro sports town. college sports it's probably the best of any major metro area in the country.

^ it's an SEC city.

yeah atlanta is well known for being a bad sports town.

The "noise" you are hearing is mostly artificial too. They pipe in noise over their speakers, which i think should be illegal in the nfl.

well you cant have a worse half than that. what a punctuation. At the very least they should have 9 points right now off three field goal drives. This sucks

I get that Seattle's offense is going to struggle, especially in the first half, since the crowd today is actually pretty loud

but defense isn't supposed to be affected by playing on the road, defense travels...Falcons are just outplaying them on both sides of the ball

Except for that sack, which was really just Sweezy getting burned at the snap, Wilson has been playing pretty well. Play calling and a super shitty defense put Seattle in the 20 point hole.

Don't be so hard on the fans. It's not their fault fault that everything in downtown is inaccessible and they can't get to the stadium in time.

First half they were trying to run it with Lynch too much and suffered for it.

The broadcast referee said that even if the Hawks got it off in time, their players were not set so they would've drawn a flag and 10 second run off

i disagree that they were running it too much.

They had three sustained drives into Falcons territory.

They had a fumble, bad playcalling by not running with Lynch or RW on 3rd and 4th, and clock mismanagement / blown pass protection.

Team could easily have had 9 -17 points at half and be in good shape right now.

Now they need both units to play almost flawless to have a chance. It's going to be tough.

Seattle's much vaunted defense has been getting embarrassed in the playoffs this year.

to be fair they are without their best player today, but yeah their defense was legit as hell all season and didn't play well in the playoffs.

But shit look at denver. their offense and defense were top notch all season and they couldnt win despite 2 special teams TD's at home. Now that was a chokejob of the century.
