Tried out a CPAP mask for the first time last night. Think I got around 2 hours of sleep.

Fuck those things....

Think I'm gonna be a grumpy SOB today now

^I thought of you yesterday at Target when I saw Neiman Marcus for Target 50% off

There was a blazer I wanted but it was still $75. I was so tempted.

I was tempted to get the rocks glasses too....buy them to give out next Christmas

Target also has their Christmas stuff 50% off and there were little stocking stuffer toys that I was going to buy for Henry's stocking next year.

This lady in front of me at Target had like several hundred dollars worth of clearance stuff in her cart. Wish I had known that before I got behind her thinking it was the shortest line. Oh well, that's what this time of year is for so I couldn't be too irritated.

Ornaments, wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, decorations, candy, stocking stuffer type things. tons and tons and tons of it. I swear like 4 people with pretty full carts went through the line next to me before she was done.

Damn, didn't realize my flex card was MasterCard. I should have paid more attention. Oh well, I guess most places that take Visa also take MC? Hopefully? Oh well again.

My mom does this shit every year after Christmas. I always make fun of her, but she gets the nicest wrapping paper, bows, decorations, etc for dirt fucking cheap. You walk into her house for Christmas and it looks like the fucking Biltmore. And her gifts look like the Christmas decorations in Macy's.

I stock up on wrapping paper at this time...errrbody thinks I have the best wrapping paper

TJ Maxx has some fabulous paper!

[Edited on December 27, 2012 at 3:23 PM. Reason : oh and I only buy styles I can use year round...only a couple christmas theme rolls]

Only thing about my mom's "plan" that makes it extreme (IMO)...is that she gets up at the ass crack of dawn to leave the house by AT LEAST 5 am...usually earlier.

The biggest stops of the day are two Cracker Barrels (Lumberton and Fayetteville)...because they have the best deals on nice ornaments. She attaches a nice ornament to every rum cake and/or baked good that she makes every year to give to a couple dozen peoples. Then she hits up the wrapping paper places, then returns for Christmas gifts, THEN general shopping.

The day starts at 4:30am and usually ends around 4:30pm. I've come along about 4 or 5 times...but its been a few years and I think I've officially retired. Now that I get drunk at Christmas, I'm usually too hungover for that shit.

I really should try to be productive tonight... but I'm just so tired. And the next two days are gonna be long ones.

I think there are only a couple of things that would get me moving at this point, and I don't see those happening any time soon

So... I spent almost the entire afternoon/evening/night helping two of my closest friends through what might have been a breakup talk turn into an understanding talk turn into an accepting that one of them needs some him time to clear his head and they'll be back together soon.
This has been weird.

All will be well.

Also, a friend of mine and I used to really like each other, but it didn't work out, and now his brother is hitting on me. Hard core. It's kind of weird. I seem to like him back though, so... I guess it works

How's your night, TWW?

Is this fake? How did you get that kind of resolution on falling snowflakes? Also, how come no snowflake I've ever seen looks like that while it's falling? Am I just not paying close enough attention? So, I guess that puts me squarely outside of the snowflake loop.

[Edited on December 28, 2012 at 5:10 AM. Reason : Or are those supposed to be stationary on your windshield? idk wtf to think]

haha well it's really cold here, like 12 degrees. so i guess as they were hitting the windshield they just weren't melting. these were tiny, tiny flakes. usually when it snows here it looks like pellets. and yeah i took that with my iphone, no high res

hmm now i want to go outside and scoop up some fresh snow and see if the flakes still look like that after they've been on the ground for awhile. but f that it's cold.

i was running a race with lucy - but she had some curse put on her and then sam i think was there but she used to live in a trailer park but now rented it out so she went there to get some stuff and we were getting chased by the residents of the trailer that she owned. then lucy and i still ran the race.

and i think we were in disney world for some of it too.

My 4-year-old niece is playing a Hello Kitty game on her new tablet. It just asked "can you select the rhombus?"

I didn't realize that was a familiar word to 4-year-olds.

Children should also be reading before Kindergarten. And not any of this See Jane Run crap.

Also, a diamond is not a shape. But it is what many people call a rhombus.
