I would not do this. LT is obviously not going to put up the numbers he did last year, which means he wont get more points than manning.

This was a tough week if you played against Roy Williams, Tom Brady, or Brian Westbrook. Or against all three of them like I did in one my leagues. :-(

Ya I was lucky I didn't play against Boldin or Curtis. The guys I was playing against actually had Curtis on the bench. So he only doubled my point total instead of almost tripling them.

Fucked up leaving Rivers on the bench on favor of Eli and this three turnovers.

Thank goodness I had Boldin on both on my teams and got a good performance from Barber III.

LT needs to step it up some.

i have my match won (with a modest 62 points), but by only less than a point...all his players are done but i still have brees...i want to play him so i can make up some points in the standings...however, brees got me negative points in week 1 and bulger putting up -4 this week is worrying me...would you play him or just bench him with the win already assured?

i would go with the assured win, but it depends on your league. i mean, i'm in first right now as the only undefeated team and wins mean more than anything else. if i was in the middle of the pack or thought i would be, then i would be concerned with points AND wins, and might be willing to take a chance.

yeah, its such a TD heavy league...I am hoping Colston can pull it off.

fucking Maroney has 100+ yards rushing and gets almost 4 points less than Sammy Morris who had ~30 yards and a TD.

I hate those damn league settings.

Alright can we go back and draft again!

I lost both starting WRs Glenn and Johnson and idiotically picked Marc Bulger. Somehow I am still 2-1.

What is your advice on Bulger Panthro?

^^ yea i know...part of me wants to go pick up droughns now if he is going to be the goal-line back...3 yards rushing and 2 td's...its like the tiki/jacobs situation from last year

their offensive air attack is looking anemic right now. Losing Orlando Pace (and two other starting lineman), injuries, new team mates, and a new scheme are REALLY hurting the offense right now.

It was promising to see S-Jax get as many carries as he did yesterday, as a successful running game will open up the passing game, but I am not so sure about them this year. They seem lethargic and disinterested. I would start looking into possible trade options, as their schedule doesnt get much easier.

The problem is, you wont get much in return for Bulger by himself right now. I would either consider packaging him with another player for a combo deal, or waiting until Bulger has a signature 300+ yd game and try to dum his ass soon after. At this point, getting Hasselbeck or Big Ben for Bulger would be a steal in your favor.

Shop around and see what other team's needs are.

opinions on this trade:

Barber III (Dal)
Jennings (GB)
Deuce (NO)

for

Walker (Den)
Lynch (Buf)

I have Walker and Lynch now....

i initiated the trade.....I'm not expecting him to bite, but hoping he'll come back with a counter offer and we'll go from there.......the points for the two groups are actually pretty close in this league (granted jennings hasn't played much), so i'm hoping he'll be interested.

I probably wouldn't trade MBIII for Walker and Lynch straight up. MBIII is going to score 20 TDs in this Cowboy offense and Walker is getting less looks with the emergence of Brandon Marshall. Lynch is going to be good, but Buffalo's schedule is brutal.

^^^i know, i just want him to counter offer and see what he's expecting....plus there's always that possibility he goes for it.

i've also got Marshall, which is one reason why i'm shopping Walker.

Garrard is on a BYE this week and I need someone to fill in.. I refuse to ever have Rex Grossman on my team again, much less my starting lineup. Who would make the best backup this week?

Daunte Culpepper @ Miami
David Carr vs. Tampa Bay
Kyle Boller @ Cleveland
Trent Edwards vs. NYJ
Kurt Warner vs. Pittsburgh
Kelly Holcomb vs. Green Bay

you gotta think whoever is going against Cleveland is going to have a good day.

I say run with that

everyone else is playing good defense such as pitt, even GB...

go with Boller and you wont be dissapointed(as long as he starts)

Brown did well vs Jags, who have a power defense

Lendale did well vs Colts, who rely more on speed and finesse.

New Orleans is more of a finesse D, so I like Lendale to pound it in between the tackles.

Though I expect New Orleans to stack the box and force Vince to beat them thru the air.

Quote :
"Owners of Steven Jackson suffered another blow Monday. The Rams running back will miss at least one week because of a partially torn left groin muscle suffer while making a cut during Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, according to the Associated Press. He finished the game despite the injury and ended up with 115 yards.

Rookie Brian Leonard is going to be a very popular waiver pickup this week because he will get his first career start in place of Jackson. Steven is considered week-to-week right now and there is a chance he misses more than one game because of the injury.
"

This is not good for the Rams and S-Jax owners. Strongly consider selling before this gets worse.

Guy trying to trade with me.. He wants 1 or 2 of these 3 RB's(i have plenty):
1) Deshaun Foster
2) Ronnie Brown
3) Marshawn Lynch

Really need a QB and he has some others of interest:
Vince Young
Trent Green

Who should I be most willing to give up and which of the QB's should I go after?

Current QB's(start 2): Garrard, Grossman, Pennington
Current RB's(start 2): Brian Westbrook, Ronnie Brown, Cedric Benson, Deshaun Foster, Ladell Betts, and Marshawn Lynch
