Haven't read through the last few pages so I will probably repeat a few things...

Coaching might or might not have cost us the game...but it sure didn't help. And I'm a TOB fan...so I'm not calling for his head...but he made a couple dumb decisions today:

- The two point conversion was fucking retarded. There is 9 minutes left in the game and you go for two to go up by 6?? You think that Schiano has two FG drives left in him?? And it's not even going up by 6...its the fact that if you miss it (and mind you we don't have Wilson in), you're only up by 4, and if they score a TD, then a FG from us only ties it. Then we have to go into overtime with a shitty QB. That decision made no fucking sense whatsoever. Then you add the fact that he BURNT A FUCKING TIMEOUT to make that shitty decision. Which would have given us an extra 35 seconds at the end of the game. Say what you want...but TOB fucked up BIG TIME with that decision.

- Putting Beck in instead of Evans. I've watched both Beck and Evans play enough to know that Beck is one of the most garbage QBs the ACC has ever seen. He's worse than Marcus Stone. Actually...now that I think about...the Davis/Stone - Evans/Beck is a perfect analogy. I don't care about the physical gifts that Stone and Beck have...I have no confidence in them whatsoever to make throws. They both panic like crazy and have the worst interceptions every...throwing the ball nowhere near the WR. At least Evans and Davis could make a couple decent throws (like Evans made today) and give you a chance. I'd love to see what Beck does in practice to warrant him coming in before Evans. I think Evans could have at least done a little more than those three and outs...and that first Beck interception was god-fucking awful. We have a decent chance if Evans goes in from the get-go.

I honestly think you'd have to be somewhat brain dead to think Beck gives your team a better chance of winning than Evans. Did you even see what Beck did out there?? He doesn't get one ball even close to any of our receivers...that interception was abysmal. I remember when I was never really scared of Stone throwing an interception if the corners were playing tight coverage, but he couldn't even get it close enough to the WRs for the defense to have a chance at it.

Chad Pennington doesn't have any arm by NFL standards, but he punked gunslinger Brett Favre on Sunday and this whole year.

I would assume Evans going totally fetal in the last game he played in was good enough reason to put in Beck over him (although obviously Evans played better than Beck today). My only problem with playing Beck is that Beck was throwing balls incredibly badly in pre-game warm-ups. He had several passes that bounced to receivers in warm-ups >_>.

Lets be pragmatic about the situation. Yes UNC lost to State. Big whoop. The ONLY reason State got a bowl game bid is because a shit ton of other conferences had extraordinarily shitty seasons.

But then again, in all fairness, Clemson going to the Gator Bowl is an absolute fucking robbery.

We still would have gotten a bowl. And with Wilson healthy, we'll still be a better team than UNC for as long as he's here. We just have to hope he stays healthy or that Glennon is a 1b backup.

I don't feel inferior to UNC at all after this bowl game. I'm disappointed our backup QBs couldn't pull us through, but I'm not longer worried about the future of our program. And I'm not worried about UNC either...because Butch can't coach well enough to take them to that top tier, and he'll leave in the next few years and they'll drop down again.

I'd say the best team is whatever team is the best when the season is finished. Which I still think State was the better team at the end of the year. I guess you could say that UNC might be the better team if you would include State without Russel Wilson, which is how we finished that game.

And the better team can be figured out most of the time by head-to-head...which again, we beat the shit out of UNC. It wasn't a close game, it wasn't decided by a few plays...it was an ass-whoopin.
