We definitely looked much better this game than last game. We gotta be much better on defense, if we give them a good chance they are gonna bury it. I feel the same way for game 7 if they score 3 or more goals in regulation we dont have enough offense against this team to keep up. Gonna have to play a nasty dirty game and hope we get some lucky bounces to go our way for a change and grind out a 2-1 type game.

for the record i didnt give up, i watched the whole thing and pulled for them all the way. however, i didn't feel like we were going to win it and we didnt. not happy about it but it doesn't make anyone a bad fan to say, "hey, i don't like the way we look, not playing well, boston is kicking ass. i don't think we're going to win."

number one rule in hockey...play either the man or the puck, but don't sit around and masturbate on the faceoff circle while a guy passes between your own legs in front of the fucking goal for an assist to seal the fucking game.


That 4th goal was exactly what we deserved for playing soft as fuck on defense. Boston looked more agressive going after the puck on a penalty kill (which we couldn't handle) than we did on defense at full strength the entire game.

I agree, we did outplay boston those three games, absolutely. My point is that to harp on how we've pulled off amazing victories and created some nice memories over the course of these two series doesn't mean JACK right now. Saying, "have you seen what this team is capable of?" or "Look what we did before, you can't count them out" sounds good but it doesn't mean anything anymore. We're getting outplayed NOW. That's why when I saw how were were playing in this game i thought, "hmm, this is not good, we probably won't win." instead of, "hmm, we're not playing well but i can't say we probably won't win because we have made miracles happen before and it will make me a bad fan to think we're going to lose."
