also... this might be a silly question, but is the spawn area immune to damage by creepers? I'm a little worried about blowing something up.

So it seems like health regenerates and there is no fall damage and.... to make up for all that, you lose all your shit when you die. Damn.

You can take health dmg from creepers but they don't destroy blocks.

Creepers do destroy blocks, but only deep underground. Run into one deep in a cave and it will blow up blocks.

Also you don't necessarily lose all your shit when you die. If you can get back to the spot you died at within five minutes (and without dying again), it will be there laying around. Sometimes this glitches, though, and your shit just disappears.

Well, then I experienced the glitch at least twice. Not too worried about it. Compared to single player, this is easy. The home command is sooooo nice.

1.3 patch has a hilarious glitch.

It increased the spawn rates of slimes.

Only the giant, hostile slimes will die. Smaller ones will not.

Slime spawns in lava, dies, multiplies. Keeps happening rapidly via some kind of glitch.

Short story is, a slime we kept as a pet wandered into an open lava pool in our main base. All of a sudden, there is an EXPLOSION of slimes, they fill up the room and start hopping towards us. So many mobs colliding. It was craaaaazy. One slime was down in the lava and just kept multiplying.
