To all of you arguing offsides, only 1 (the cross to Valencia) was clearly off. The other two were so close it could have been RVP on the line. The benefit of the doubt goes to the attacker in that case.

Honest question: have players been suspended for 8+ games for spitting at another player?

I found Meireles was given an 11 game ban but it was reduced to 4. Also, spitting a referee is a different scenario.

^ Spitting, biting, etc aren't typically given lengthy bans like everybody is suggesting for Suarez, that's why. I get it. Suarez has dug his own grave. I just think it's funny we're all so outraged by this but horror tackles that break people's legs are just shrugged off. Biting is definitely unusual but what makes it so different from headbutts and nut punches and other silly little things?

the dutch FA gave him 7 games for biting. it makes no sense to give him any less than that this time around

^ Dont you know its all a conspiracy from Sir Alex and Manchester United to get Suarez to leave England? Manchester United are so scared of Liverpool's dominance in the EPL that they just know the 30+ points that separate the two teams will be amassed next year with the best player in the world Suarez at the helm. Sir Alex clearly doesn't want this and has had an agenda against Suarez to try to get him to leave England.
