^LTR has nothing to do with rank and everything to do with availability. I have LTR's for football, and I've asked about moving up into the next value section a couple of times. Their response is always the same: "You have to keep calling back and asking if they're available. No one gets special treatment, it's all about luck."

i'll say 8-10 followed by 2 wins in the Tournament against ND and Virginia and then a close game against UNC/Syracuse where we get screwed by the refs on a end of game call and then we delude ourselves into thinking we're on the bubble with a sub .500 conference record and a RPI in the high 50s-low 60s

then we get a 4 seed in the NIT

The team is actually better than I thought they'd be, considering we're playing 3 freshman and Vandy in the post. I think 9-9 is pretty reasonable.

The downfall will be 3-point shooting, free-throw shooting, and the fact that there isn't a strong leader on the team ... not yet at least. They play really tight with the lead and don't seem to have any confidence closing teams out, and that stems from youth and a lack of leadership on the court.

Even though Cat and TJ are the best players, I think Dez Lee eventually becomes the leader of this team.

2001-2002 Basketball Team Autographs - Herb used to bring his team to my church for a service every year. I got the entire team to sign it (Hodge, Sherril, Melvin, Keeter, etc)

David Thompson, Monte Towe, and Tommy Burleson signed card. They happen to be standing next to me at a game when they were being honored, so I had them sign the only piece of paper I had.

The game starts at 9 PM, Ends at 11,11.30 if there is OT. You think one could sleep immediately once the game is over? It takes about 45 minutes just for the adrenaline from watching the Cardiac Pack die down. Then you have State fans go late into the night discussing the game in TWW/twitter and meltdown in PP.

Kyle Washington is going to be awesome for us by his Junior/Senior year. Shit...he's awesome now and will be good next year two...I just can't imagine how good he's going to be with even more seasoning and filling out. He's smart, has great touch/skill, and seems to be a real positive influence on the bench and on the court.

He's like a Brandon Costner, except he looks like he actually gives a shit and won't get fat and lazy...just better.
